    LOL at Jeff. If this was any other skater they wouldn't be able to do that. Hahaha.. I'm reminded of Kurt Browning saying that choreographing Yuzu is like playing a video game... you say it and then he'll do it. Also, zuzu the nerd researching the choreography for the opening song. Now someone just needs to isolate the part where he sang softly and increase the volume so we can analyse every note.

    I don't know anything about dance or ballet but I've been following this thread and learning a lot! When I read this particular line, I actually remembered that Kurt Browning said the same thing on PJ Kwong's podcast for GPF 2014! At 9:50 he says: "It's a level of jumping skill that Baryshnikov... you know what I mean.. in ballet everyone went 'when Baryshnikov jumps, it's just different.' When Yuzu jumps, it's just different."

    Thank you so much for the translation. Aaaah... I'm getting emotional here... Same, Brian... Same.. I'm glad that they've finally been able to communicate well that they've started to see that they both have the same vision - they just have a different approach to it. And I'm so glad Yuzuru has finally been able to convey his feelings to Brian. Excuse me while I sob in a corner now.

    This was SC 2015 - the one where he was doing SE-4s-SE and everyone was /????/ and then at NHK bam! hahaha.. They were doing rehearsals for Gala and I think Jeremy Ten was the choreographer and was asking Yuzu if he could do a cantilever as well as Tuktamysheva... Jeremy chose Elizaveta's cantilever and Yuzu's reaction was really cute. (This video is an hour + long... you can see he's lost in his own world. hahaha). I don't think he likes doing cantilevers though and only did it because he was asked to (it looked so halfheartedly done. haha)

    Hahaha.. He sort of equates/compares everything to skating (fabric conditioner, shampoo, toothbrush ). So, if somehow he thinks he can improve his skating through singing, I'm sure he'll do everything to be perfect. He's got the capacity for it - being able to pinpoint sound/notes/being in tune. Meanwhile, I'm forever tone deaf so I'm not in a position to comment.
