This was from an old tv program though? If he does do a Seimei 2.0 I feel like it's not going to be the exact same thing. Just like R+J 1 and R+J 2 was different. Honestly, I'm pretty much ok with this because the character of Abe no Seimei clearly resonates with him. I also trust Shae Lynn to do wonderful new choreography since we know that she watched the movie and understood the character of Seimei (and Yuzuru) very well.

Theory time! So... I just realised when Yuzu said during the small medal's ceremony in Helsinki that he spent the night studying his short program he might've not meant just LGC. I think he was analysing stats like you guys and came to the same conclusion that having a not so clean SP has caused him a lot of trouble. He's got meticulous notes/stats/analysis... I think that's why he looked surprised at his score for H&L; he expected to go above 200 but he didn't expect to break his record. I mean, this guy knows his scoring potential. At WC 2015 he predicted his SP to be 95. At NHK 2015 SP you can hear Orser at the K&C say "106?" and Yuzu replied "I hope so.." You can also clearly see that he knows when judges are being generous to him - 2017 4CC SP and I think 2013 2013 4CC SP as well. So, maybe that's when he started thinking about Chopin. As a side note this troll said that he didn't know yet what he would be skating to for his next season and then we find out he'd been thinking about Chopin since after his LP as Helsinki... Conclusion: Never trust Zuzu.

Dooooooorks! This was when they had that interview with Nobu, Yuzu, and Akiko and it was revealed by Nobu how Yuzu has started to get obsessed with kendama (even playing it on the ice) and Yuzu revealed he had a special all black kendama. hahaha

I think 4Lz is still on the table depending on how training goes. He was (and still is probably) too hard on himself (everyone else was too... conveniently forgetting that it was a splatfest for all the men) for falling during his long program for Sochi and that's why he's aiming for a faultless performance this time. He won't abandon his 2 3a's in the second half because they're his most reliable jumps and if the judges aren't drunk they get the same pts as a quad due to their goe's. I think because of 4cc and WTT he realised he can play around with his layout more without the burden of having to put a new jump.

I also get the impression that Orser actually learned a lot from Yuzuru strategy wise. In his documentaries you see his notes and how much he studies everything. But yeah.. it's funny how circumstances in his life has shaped him. From being born in a family that nurtures but at the same time gives independence to their kids. Having asthma and trying to overcome. Getting a strict first coach that taught him discipline and good jump foundation. Losing his rink the first time and having seen Shizuka use her status as OGM to help reopen the rink. Nanami Abe's guidance “Do not forget the beginner’s mind”. The Tohoku earthquake. Worlds 2012. Choosing to go to Orser. The season leading up to Sochi and then winning the gold medal but not as he wanted it. COC 2014. (and that whole damn season to tbh) Boston 2016. And he always rises above and gets stronger. And.... I'm making myself emotional now... hahaha
