Zuzu's fashion off ice is basically shirts + jeans/shorts or training wear. His questionable fashion sense only comes into play with his costumes and suits. I 100% blame the stylist for that shoot. Aera doesn't seem to be able to style him properly... Credit: Unknown. Pls PM

Imagine if he was just trolling and using Chopin to gain confidence/consistency in the SP while it's still off season. I mean he's basically skating an entire SP (quads and all) for his entire summer show (if that is his plan). And then comes up with an entirely new SP. Either way, I do think it's not yet set and that he's still feeling things out but at the same time he wants to get a head start in training for the SP. The fact that there's no actual confirmation from him and that he's being vague makes me think that he's also debating and taking in every consideration. I do find it funny that Chopin is so contradictory: some find it as playing safe and others find it risky. Right now, my head hurts thinking about it so I'll just wait for his final decision on the matter and just try to enjoy the off season while worrying about how expensive going to Milan will be. hahaha

Well.. having nhk trophy as your 2nd gp event is the best scenario. You can stay in Japan to train for the Grand Prix Final without worrying about travel/jet lag/practice time. That said.... I have no idea what JSF are thinking with the japanese ladies gp assignments... are they trying to self-sabotage or something?? Makes no sense...

Yeah. I have a feeling that 4lo is gonna be a 4lz if it's stable enough. He's actually being pretty smart with his layout while still being conservative. He's going for jumps that he knows he can execute cleanly.

Also, that 4t3t combo was perfectly in tune with the music Tracy said that his issue with the COD was he had a hard time with jumping it in time with the music. So, I think going with 4t3t is a better option.

Yuzu's always been ahead of everyone in terms of strategy. I think Shoma or his team realised this. But is he really confident not just with a combo on the second half but also on his 4F? I have a strange feeling he's gonna start getting called on his prerotation... Specially since his first GP is Skate Chanada.

There's less room for errors on the SP because you only have 7 required elements. And as we saw from Yuzu, backloading can be rewarding in terms of points but also dangerous if not done perfectly - especially not having the combo as your first jumping pass.

Not sure about which jumps but I think that he'll definitely backload and have 2 jumps in the second half, one of them being a quad combo. 4CC and WTT has taught him that he's got the stamina for it now.

I'm glad people have now reached an acceptance stage here. Sorry, but I kinda found it a bit amusing how a lot of people were going thru the stages of grief over oly programs. hehe Like I said before, I'm pretty chill about his decision mainly because I trust him. If I remember correctly (prolly not since I've already blocked the previous oly season in my brain. haha), people were also complaining about keeping PW and doing another R+J program. This is Yuzu. His goal for this season was to "go beyond ideals." If his ideal skates right now are Chopin + Seimei then I have full confidence that he will go beyond what he has already shown us from these 2 programs.

I'm actually pretty chill. hahaha Oooooh boy. I'm actually one of the first in the FaOI thread to say Seimei 2.0 as soon as I heard about Chopin 3.0. But what I meant about Seimei 2.0 is that he's prolly going to use music from the soundtrack and not the exact same one he used before. Chopin + Seimei combo was really well received - to the point that some people have said he should've saved it for Olympic season. After reading about how in-tune he is with his fans, I've decided not to put out any negative energy to him. Some of his decisions over the course of his career I have questioned, but in the end I still trust him.
