This is cute... a lot of people seem to want/like Yuzu & Chiddy interactions

Top picture is from this video: (at 3:43) Bottom picture is from 2010 Japan Nationals 6 minute warm up where Takahito Mura and Yuzuru almost collided. I can't find the video but nonchan has a gifset.

Hmmmmm.... might not be a good idea for Yuzu considering all his antis. He also considers ALL competitions seriously (even WTT LOL/SOB). I think that's why he goes crazy during galas and ice shows (not too much recently though which is frankly, a relief)

A million thank yous are not enough @gladi!! Don't want to dig up past hurts but Boston truly made Yuzu change his views and open up more to TCC team. I really feel the difference in how close he is now to Brian compared to that past seasons. I'm glad he's decided that good communication helps (LOL). I also believe he's one of the reason we saw Tracy in the K&C last season. Didn't he say she helped him a lot during the time where he couldn't even step on the ice? Anyway, it was really lovely to see Tracy at the K&C - helps Brian as well. haha Troll!!! He could at least have gone with a different shirt for each publication Oh my... this brat. I feel like somewhere in Japan, Tatsuki Machida's going "I told you so! I told you he was annoying..."

I'm glad JSF is thinking about their athletes for this Olympic cycle. I think Yuzu's the only currently competing JPN figure skater that went to Sochi so of course he's learned a lot from his experience. Side Note: Why is an American broadcast network like NBC able to dictate the athlete's schedule to coincide with their broadcast in the USA despite the schedule being detrimental to an athlete's performance?

2014 4Lz but at TCC... skip to 2:39.

Rewatching R+J1s for nostalgia and how did I not realise Lambiel was at Nebelhorn 2011???
-
I was trying to find a video clip (and not just a gif) of the 4Lz he did in 2014 and came across this tweet..

I find it really funny that the consensus for playing Romeo is 'maturity'. Even Kurt Browning was saying during (I think) COR 2011 "Would you choose this music for a teenager?" and Tracy Wilson replied "No, but he carries it so well..." But..... wasn't Romeo a reckless and immature teenager? Like, one of the early critics for Vincent's R+J program and the impetus to change programs is that he doesn't have the 'maturity' for it... It was perfect for Yuzu though because he portrayed that recklessness so well... and while he didn't have an ideal 'Juliet' for the tragic love story aspect of the program, he had Sendai / Tohoku and their people - who have just gone through a tragedy...

He looks so different here...

@Aotoshiro, thank you for taking the time to write your views about Chopin how it relates to Yuzu. That was an amazing read! Also, knowing how meticulous Yuzu is about his programs you can bet that he's also researched about Chopin and must've been pleased with the parallels - this might also be the reason he feels a connection to Chopin as a program.
