    Let's just move on from this (unlike Japanese Media). I know it's human nature to be curious. Maybe you guys can judge for yourself. Here are the protocols for: SP (where he completed his jumping passes and had lesser PCS than Daisuke) FS (where he also completed his jumping passes - no falls but some rough landings and was also 6 pts behind Daisuke in PCS - Daisuke had 96 PCS). ETA: He had too big a lead in the SP (where he performed everything well and Daisuke didn't) for Daisuke to catch-up in the free especially with their BV difference.

    Oh man... it's really hard to find them and I kinda forgot where I last saw a source... I'll give you a heads up when I do... ETA: Found one... but not the full thing. Just a snippet of the medal ceremony. Poor kiddo looked so sad winning his first nationals...

    It doesn't help that Japanese media seem to love creating rivalry storylines between their own skaters - which of course just fuels fanwars. But as much as they lay out these rivalry storylines, they're cowards in the end. Case in point: It's next to impossible to find a footage of JNationals 2012 podium/victory ceremony. I'm dreading what type of narrative they're preparing for this year's nationals to be honest. Especially with the Yuzuru vs Shoma thing they've been trying to go for the whole of last season as well as ladies only having 2 Olympic spots.

    I hope they'll release the film internationally!

    What I do love about Yuzu is he will ask just about anyone who is an expert in their own field about their experiences and he is usually able to mold those advise into something that suits him. (LOL at him talking to Kenzo Shirai about jumps and him saying he can't use Shirai's technique).

    Commentary on gladi's translated article: I love that he's found his strength in something Japanese because we all know how much he loves Japan. Yes, Hope and Legacy was a more subtle approach then Seimei and didn't get the same reception but I do believe that his Worlds '17 performance will be looked upon as one of the greatest FS performance in the history of this sport. This is also how you try further a sport that is sometimes very much stuck in it's western standard ways and how you break away from norms like warhorses and tangos - and he seems to be the only one in a position to do that right now. This boy just leaves me in awe..

    OMG... they did the exact same thing when they invited Yuzu back for Keiji and Ryuju's segment in Suzuki no Heya at NHK 2016 because he was talking nonstop in the background.

    Thank you for the speed translation @kaerb Can I just say how random the terranium segment was? I guess I could understand the speaker because he's a music/sound buff but the terranium was a bit /??/ I'd watch it just for the reactions of the teacher though.
