  1. Hahahahahahaha.... NO! (I'm not ready for Jnats bloodbath)
  2. The good thing about Yuzu is he never just "copies". I think the best adjective to describe what he does are tributes. His layback ina bauer is a tribute to Shizuka but what he does is very different from Shizuka (unless they're collaborating) and each ina bauer is just a little bit different depending on the program. Same with his hydroblade as well. Also, Shae Lynn has always been a choreographer that's able to tailor a program specifically to the skater.
  3. I'm so excited for hydroblade variations! ... and Shae Lynn is absolutely the best person to collaborate with Yuzu on it. Here's a great example of Shae Lynn's different hydroblade variations in just one program!
  4. Thank you very much for all the quick translations!
  5. Nothing worst than usual then.
  6. I don't see it as pressure though. Dick button was the 1st man to land a 2a, the first to land a triple jump of any kind - a 3Lo, youngest OGM, repeat OGM.... it's a sign! /LOL/
  7. It was a long read but it was a great read. Honestly, while reading everything I could practically feel all your emotions. Your experience was very moving. I don't think it was just a miracle for you to have that experience... maybe it was fate as well. Regardless, it is clear how this experience enhanced your life and made you be a little bit more brave and strive to be a better person as well. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful experience!
  8. Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
  9. With Misha!
  10. No mention of trying/training that I know of but at GPF16 post FS interview he said that he wanted to try 4A in a program and that he thinks he'll be able to do it. /Look at his cheeky smile though when they started asking about 4A/ RE: 4Lz - I agree with @robin that he was more interested in showing off the 4Lo because it's rarer than the 4Lz (and even now more guys are going for the 4Lz). I do feel he trained for the 4Lz pretty early on because he's anticipated that he might need it in his jump arsenal. We know that he has incredible foresight and has been talking about an upcoming quad era since 2012!
  11. While his coaches are revealing things, a certain Trollzuru Hanyu is just going .
  12. ....... don't jinx it
  13. Chiming in... maybe a team europe/team asia instead? There's really not much post about other Team Spain skaters apart from Javi.
  14. From a Channel NewsAsia article "Figure Skating: Hanyu, Medvedeva retain Grand Prix Final titles"
  15. I'm not expecting anything new because he might do a 'best of' like he did for the last Olympic cycle. Or he might have a new one since we still don't know why David Wilson was scheduled together with Brian and Tracy for Yuzu's media day... Either way, he will troll.. the-real-xmonster from tumblr did an awesome GIFSET of choreos in mismatched costumes.
  16. Haha.. I was also actually thinking about the quads. The music flows better and the jumps won't feel as frantic. Feels like this was the aim for the program change and I think they're heading for the right direction.
  17. He was such a salty swan for the entire post 4cc competition media coverage and I loved every minute of it...
  18. I can barely see but so far, I actually feel this might be a better fit for him that R+J. The more lyrical and slow tempo seem to suits him.
  19. Satton... I wish her a full and speedy recovery! Yes, don't think about challenger series or senior b competitions and just do you best at the gp series. On a lighter note, I was wondering why Satton would sign her name with a pineapple on her blog and could this be the reason??
  20. We should stop meeting like this.. ( funny thing...the way they introduced their segment on yuzu was thru fanart /still not over it/ ) ETA: Yuzu was so sweet... "I owe what I won to him..."
  21. Seimei 2.0 coming in less than 3 weeks!
