  1. I like that most speculations about him maybe originally wanting to do LGC is correct (based on his previous patterns). But ultimately, I do think Chopin is the right strategy going forward to the Olympics.
  2. LOL... last Olympic cycle his Ex skates were all recycled (previous programs): SC 2013 - Etude TEB 2013 - NDP GPF 2013 - Story (From Ice Shows) Nats 2013 - Hana ni Nare OWG 2014 - White Legend Worlds 2014 - R+J1 So the possibility of seeing POTO, LGC, and H&L as EX pieces won't be a surprise.
  3. Yuna S. and something about 3Lz-3Lo
  4. Wakababy interview?
  5. New translations from @gladi !! 2 Yuzuru Hanyu Interviews from 2017-18 Media Day!
  6. Nobu... Shoutout to Australians @kaerb @SparkleSalad
  7. So... before Koi Dance, zuzu was apparently into Maru Maru Mori Mori - and infected some TJ skaters as well. [source] The actual dance is super cute!
  8. Awwwwww.... I don't even understand what she's saying but she sounds so proud when she introduced pooh and said "Yuzuru Hanyu".
  9. Hopefully nothing major and she's just being very extra cautious about her health.
  10. While it is a bit of a close call - so near major competition dates, I honestly think it's a good decision as I feel Marin's not ready for a tango program yet. There is also Mai who is also skating to tango and whether we like it or not, comparisons will be made especially with jpn ladies only having 2 spots. If she found a piece of music that she feels she can relate to and perform better with then I'm all for it. /crossing fingers hoping for the best/
  11. I would actually prefer Chopin to LGC for the Olympic season even though I love LGC for the reason that Chopin seems to be more flexible music and rhythm wise to his different jump patterns. One of the issues he had with LGC was that he had to keep in time with the music and any mistakes he made when performing that program seems to be magnified. He also doesn't need an added pressure of 'he HAS to do the program perfectly' because he wasn't able to last season. We all saw what happened at WTT when he was pressuring himself so much to finally deliver a perfect LGC. He can revisit LGC post Olympics.
  12. So.. Vincent, Ashley, Karen, V/M...... What's with Moulin Rouge? I can't believe all the hype (and complaints /lol/) about Lalaland being the warhorse for Olympic season is dashed by Moulin Rouge
  13. I love how this picture looks with the shadows... [x]
  14. A duet!
  15. Bringing back the softestTM Hope & Legacy. Bonus: British uncle and & auntie gushing about how adorable he is.
  16. A closer look at POTO 1.0
  17. This looks like when you flip pages... so cool!
  18. His twitter handle is 'pchiddy'
  19. A million thank you's not enough for all your translations @gladi! My thoughts: Yuzu and his team definitely knew that the first and loudest criticism he would get from the media (and haters) is repeating a program (even though a LOT of skaters repeat programs - just like what Nobu and Shae-lynn said). There really is a double standard when it comes to him but I'm glad that he's one step ahead and everyone in his team + Nobu has defended him with their own experience of repeating programs but at the same time praising his dedication in leveling up that program. So it was Shae-lynn's suggestion! I am (again) eternally grateful to her. In meeting with Nomura Mansai Yuzu learned a lot about doing a performance, not just for Seimei but as a whole. Reading everything... you really feel that there's a special sense of connection between Yuzu and Shae-lynn. What was wonderful to read is that he and Shae-lynn seem to get inspiration from each other. She understands his vision and his nature and she takes delight in giving him the freedom to express it in the program they construct - sometimes even giving him a challenge and making things a bit more difficult each time.
