The reason I asked was when I was living in Jakarta (notorious for its' high pollution, among other things), I tried wearing a mask while doing my morning jogging in the neighbourhood (so I don't have to drive/take a ride to the nearest 'park' for a relatively fresher air). 2 minutes into actual running and I was about to pass out. This is what I was thinking, too. Showing any emotion, particularly near sobbing as she did there (but, Abe-sensei is another one of those who still looks human when crying, I see. Like sensei like student), isn't particularly common in Asian culture in general, yet she was so overwhelmed she couldn't avoid it. It's actually very very ironic coming from her, cz she has had problems regarding society's absurd standards on how to dress as well. She had had to scream on twitter when no designer wants to dress her for the red carpet. And here, Yuzu is, by the western POV anyway, breaking those standards, and she just couldn't see it.
