  1. They would foot the bill for the software, and probably for some sets of cameras and computers, and the others, being rather inexpensive (with the installation and commissioning engineer) would get them savings as they would need much less people on the tech panel (volunteer but their expenses have to be reimbursed). Do you remember what a member of the Ice Dance tech panel said after Europeans? 80% of their time goes to counting turns in spins! In 2020! As to speed skating, it would make money should Yuzuru Hanyu do some, in spite of what Kikuchi-san wrote about his highly specialised muscles.
  2. I feel the same. I thought, within a few years he may be able to point scoring problems in figure skating, and more or less force ISU to address them, but I would never had imagined he was already working on it for his thesis. So, officially he's just a student who researched and may publish about his field, but practically he's showing the way to ISU in his usual clever, thoughtful, patient, polite.. and rather imperative way. A genius is a genius, after all. He never ceases to surprise us. How I'm happy! And how I feel watered — have I ever been a cactus at all? My plant memory doesn't remember.
  3. Oh, so there does exist a British subject not understanding cricket rules? Yet, I understand ISU have lots of reserves (and may have to dig in to survive CoViD crisis, by the way). Much more than needed to set up a way to judge fairly the most technical points, and let judges more free to collect on those less easy to be scored by a set of cameras, a small computer and a little software.
  4. Best sempai. One more YuzuVier video... How to get lifted in 13s.
  5. From my remembrances of a time "in shape", when I would get up with abdos and planks, his exercises seem completely insane to me. Well, I should have expected it given what he does on his skates, the extraordinarily difficult movements he does to look like a soft cherry blossom letting itself carry by the wind, it needs such strength and mastery.
  6. I cannot watch the test skates yet, but I'm quite relieved to know she has a new FP! Thank you!
  7. Oh no. He knows me too well to be jealous. And I really think I'm at no risk of falling in love with Yuzuru Hanyu, otherwise (being married) I wouldn't take the risk of watching him. But this doesn't prevent admiration, and loving to watch him.
  8. And actors. In fact, I have often seen many of them make gestures which seemed just ridiculous to me, though apparently meant to seduce. Then he does that sort of gestures, and his have sense and are pleasant, and I can guess why (not only) girls fall. They are just what they ought to be. I suppose this is because of his inner beauty. I like very much his Armani shirt, but its thin black stripes details are spectacular only a thin and upright figure like his, one can see it comparing with the model wearing it on Amazon. But I will search a polo shirt of this inspiration, fitting better my husband's figure.
  9. Does this mean they are recycling their LPs? Daria Usacheva will skate again to Je suis malaaaadeee?
  10. Haru Yo, Koi (versión cantada al vivo por Yumi Matsuyoka) con subtítulos en español : Y un curso de audición del idioma japonés con palabras más simples de Yuzuru Hanyu :
  11. Of course I was thinking about him. But given the natural difference in hygiene needs between men and women, and how our instincts usually follow our natural needs, I wonder if, to determine if a suitcase belongs to a male or a female skater, rather than the colour and size of the boots, the presence of one towel or two is not a safer clue. I was a "tomboy" (as people said then), to say the least, I would have chosen rather boyish accessories, but I would definitely have had two towels, and the facial one in a clean place.
  12. Nishikawa 2019 quảng cáo và làm phim, phụ đề tiếng Việt.
  13. Some of his playful moments during commercial shootings.
  14. Shorter? Are you sure? Both are tall (>1m80) but I would have thought them approximately the same size.
  15. He does have rosy nose and cheeks after a kissing hydroblade. So cute.
  16. Oh, thank you! I knew none of these two programs, what a wonderful holiday present! (And what a watering, though I'm sorry those who already knew them won't have it.) There was already Romeo & Juliet 1, particularly in Nice : young, ardent and immature love, exactly Romeo, and the only convincing Romeo I've ever heard of. As to any risk of contamination by the ice, in case another athlete would have dried his blade with a previously contaminated towel (as I understand "some" male skaters use the same towel for both — most recently, Shoma Uno opened his case and there was only one towel), there would be extremely low odds of receiving an extremely small amount of weakened virus (sort of, a micro-dose of vaccine) but not more, so I don't think it's a concern.
  17. @sallycinnamon posted the link in the R+J1 thread yesterday : https://yadi.sk/a/_zRuHDjY3UnBEB
  18. Super photos, thank you! Was this his first meeting with "Javi"? They didn't know they would be such friends only a year later...
  19. But then, is she still a Kazakh citizen? And will she go on competing?
  20. I hadn't seen it under this angle; and they have Daria Usacheva and Maiia Khromykh in the same team... There have been rumours about the causes of Alexandra Trusova's and Alena Kostornaia's departures, but I don't thing they themselves, or their parents, have spoken of another pupil being favoured?
  21. Could it be that Russians like as much a "good fight" for a slight pretext as French/Gauls?
  22. Japan Open is money we know it, and it's a pleasurable event, but I really thought it was already not thought of anymore, as it doesn't count in World standings etc, so it doesn't strike me as a priority in these times.
