Wow, that's beautiful dark angsty videos of yuzu skating (and doing other workouts like the few seconds shown where he was at the barre) are the BEST @Fay is right, it could have been better had it been Yuzu's soothing, familiar voice!! Missed opportunity there!! I lovee it too! I think his blades (the pattern 99s) have a distinctive sound, and is rather loud compared to other blades, but like you said it is a softer sound (not scratchy, more like the sound of grinding on ice) and is total ASMR... How a skater's blades sound is usually indicative of how good their skating skills are. The stronger the edges, the more you'll get that ASMR soft grinding sound

Anyone can add anything! I don't really have any plans for any official kind of oversight over the wiki right now, but at least the changes are all saved in case we want to revert back to an original change. It would be cool if we could collaborate and consolidate on some sort of intro to Yuzuru Hanyu page for new fans with many different sections of interesting interviews, videos, trivia tidbits, etc.

I don't know who would be interested, but with some forum functionality we just got recently, we also get this "wiki" functionality where articles can be jointly edited by the community! I was thinking since we sometimes get new fans asking about resources for getting into Yuzu, or for learning figure skating basics, and there are a lot of threads/blogs/news floating around the web, not all of it accurate, we could maybe contribute jointly to a few articles? Again, not sure who would be interested. But anyone who is -- please check it out and test it out! You should all be able to edit! As well as create new wikis! (The revision history does get saved too, but unfortunately I can't figure out how to make that public. I think only admins can see it right now.)

It sounds like they held a hearing without asking for evidence? Why bother having such a hearing at all? Especially since the appropriate measures needed to get the evidence could currently be tied up due to corona or unavailable due to ongoing investigations in the US...

Hehe. I have the exact same one. I bought it in Helsinki when I was there for Worlds 2017. I didn't know Yuzu had the exact same one, lol. But he did say he likes bees Spinners are so hard to use lol. But theyre good practice for jumps too (as well as spins lol) so I can see why Yuzu has one.

Heh, I believe it's the traditional Chinese version so actually it was released in Taiwan, but as for Blue Flames 3, I'm partial to Otonal (the first one) but I can totally understand if he wanted to go for PC Chopin. Without a doubt, our boy sure loves his blue costumes...

Thank you for the translation! It must be a joy to photograph Yuzu, he seems to have no bad angles. Although yes, jumps/spin positions do make the face look rather...well concentrated (i like this one tho)
