    I love Matsuoka's interviewing of Yuzuru - he really manages to engage Yuzu so well, and he asks intelligent questions which elicit interesting and intelligent answers from Yuzuru......and they always seem to be having a very natural conversation when they are together! God I so hope Yuzu wins gold in Pyeongchang - he has never felt he deserved the Olympic Title in 2014, of course he did deserve it, and he definitely deserves it now, he is such a fantastic, mature, powerful, sensitive, artistic, emotional, skilled, musical, and gifted skater and I do not know many people who disagree with the view that he is the best skater in the world currently, and maybe the best ever (of course as far as I am concerned there is no "maybe" in the latter part of that sentence!!).

    ...is it too much to hope for Mai to win Gold?? Yuzuru has said she is "next to Medvedeva" (does that mean next to as in "the next one", or next to as in "the same as" I wonder?? need expert Japanese translation!) - he is a bit of a figure skating expert after all, so if it's the latter meaning then he must have some confidence that she can beat Medvedeva - she needs 2 fab programmes (do we know if she is recycling any, or if she is likely to have new ones?). I really would like to see her win Gold! (I do love Wakaba's skating actually and hope for that consistency next season, but am expecting Satoko and Mai to be the 2 successful competitors selected for the Olympics - wish there were 3 places for the women!)

    sorry I don't @kaerb - I can't even read the signature on the art piece accurately - I have googled a few versions of the signature but have not found any links etc. If you find anything, I would be really pleased if you let me know! Thanks I agree it's just gorgeous.

    I actually DID laugh when I saw this!! Watch Boyang - a skater goes past and he laughs harder - watch Yuzu - he laughs as the skater goes past, so I think they were laughing at another skater's antics @katonice - only a guess though!

    He was so exciting to watch, he put his all into the programmes - "raw talent" ! I loved his joy at the Worlds 2012 ceremony for his bronze medal - you could see what a star 🌟 he was then!! (and soooo pretty!) 💖

    Wakaba is not in that list, but I can see her potential to be a special skater -she is so powerful in her jumping, great spins, speed, and I think that she shows real ability in terms of expression and musicality - when this develops further I think she will be very exciting to watch - she needs a good choreographer and some fab music to show her skills off to the full.
