    Come on guys we need lots of positivity for Yuzuru - he KNOWS he is going to win and so do we!! YUZURU AND THE OLYMPIC DREAM Some experts say that he's the best of ALL of time, it's true. We hope his health has stood the test, His Dream still within view. So lets cheer Yuzu to his Goal, Embrace him with our love, And he will skate with Heart and Soul, Blessed by the gods above. His plan to perform programmes past, has proved his wisdom great, And he WILL be the First, not last, That Second Gold his fate! COME ON YUZURU!! WE KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!! WE LOVE AND SUPPORT YOU ALWAYS!

    GASPS!! Great theme/banner, now I REALLY am excited/scared/hopeful/terrified/pining/crying/grinning/sending Yuzu so much positive energy..........Oda's comments today made me feel confident of Yuzuru's chances though, and those figures with the top SP/FS/Combined scores too......show the gaping gap between Yuzu and the others!! C'MON YUZU!!

    I'm gonna be brave and go for just a moment! I saw this and thought it a rousing YUZU!ANTHEM for Olys and thought you might miss it if it wasn't on general thread so: Just have a quick look, I hope it'll make you feel ready for the excitement of seeing Yuzu skate again!! C'mon Yuzu!!

    Love the pic from the NYT article!! Hopefully, anyone who sees it will "become hysterical, or feel their life is complete"...that's what the article says happens when people first see Yuzu skate!!! (sounds like their may be some sexist attitude at play....the word "hysterical" tends to be applied to women doesn't it...)

    We are all so hungry for news of Yuzuru's progress because we want some idea of what his chances are of success ie. achieving his dream of winning his second Olympic Gold medal. That's why I posted the Japan Times article - most of us are interested to hear what others in the sport think of this issue (even if they don't think it diplomatic to give their name!) Yuzu really deserves the gold, WE all know that, I imagine all (or most) in the figure skating community know that, deep down at least! But, as spectators, I feel we are focussed on him winning or at least medalling because we know HE wants it so much (and I know from so many posts on various media that Yuzuru's happiness is really important to us his fans and supporters).......whereas for us I think the goal is really just to SEE him skate, that's OUR gold medal. We want the experience of how Yuzuru's skating makes us FEEL, the emotion he evokes with his beauty and majesty and skill. Of course we want to see outstanding performances, he is undoubtedly capable of them health permitting, but he always skates with beauty and feeling even when he makes technical errors........so I am hoping so much that he is making progress with his health and that he will be able to show the world the beauty and emotion of his programmes and skating!............... (Oh, OK, of COURSE I want him to win Gold too!!)(pleeeaaase skating gods....)

    The commentator is very praising of Yuzuru and his skills (especially the landing of that 4Ltz!) but OMG he really DOESN'T like that costume!! I of course love it and feel it is just right for Yuzuru, and helps him feel the part....plus it adds that special sparkle to his performance! I love that the commentator also calls Yuzuru "a quirky sort"!!! What on earth can he be referring to??!!

    Sorry if this has already been posted........ Now we are into January I am feeling really excited, but also nervous, about the Olympics Games. On the one hand I am so worried about Yuzuru's readiness for this biggest of competitions, and on the other hand I am convinced he has the mental and physical ability to deliver a stunning performance of the programmes in which he is so invested and with which he is so familiar (with or without 4Lutz and 4Loop!!). This short (and old!) video strikes a mood of excitement/anticipation in the run up to the Olympics:...SEIMEI has such magnificence, and Yuzuru has the aura and majesty needed to portray the character. HE CAN DO IT!! because he is MAGICAL

    Yuzuru is certainly NOT giving up his goal for GOLD at the Olympics...........love his trainers!! Even the toecaps are GOLD!!
