    Thanks for posting @BWOZWaltz! I think there is just nobody more beautiful on the ice than Yuzuru - he is mesmerising when skating, so beautiful, graceful, those edges! Despite the joy of watching him skate, I find it hard not to be tearful!!!

    Thanks so much for posting this - I adore the Hanyu painting, it's beautiful in my eyes and, not being an artist, I can only imagine how much skill is needed to get such an accurate portrayal of a person's appearance and essence by using a few strokes of a brush …… I wish it was hung on my wall!! (Imagine how much that will appreciate in value over time - that's why the rich buy art, as an investment - us, we just like to look at it!) (especially if it has anything to do with Yuzu!! ) The Gallery video on youtube states: Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac is delighted to present its first exhibition of works by Elizabeth Peyton with her show Eventyr. The exhibition draws its title from the old Norse word for fairytale or adventure. Through a group of portraits and still life scenes the artist addresses themes that have recurred throughout her career – including those of selfhood, passing time, and the condensation of emotion into faces, figures, gestures and objects. (hence why she chose Yuzuru as one of her subjects - I am sure this is the image she has used as her model:

(It didn't make me cry at all.....) oops sorry for changing topic too! but I liked what the poster said about HYK so much, and thought you might too! (though we all interpret it differently to one another no doubt). However we interpret it, it's beautiful, and will get even more beautiful is my guess

    He has been absolutely driven to win these 2 gold medals for nearly all of his life, what a sense of freedom he must have now! He really can do as he pleases! He might even have a lie-in or two, be late for practice…………...nah don't think so somehow! I do know that I CAN'T WAIT to see what he does music, choreography, interpretation and performance (OMG I have high expectations!!), and costume-wise. I am not getting overly excited by the potential prospect of an LGC recycle, but if he enters the ice rink prior to his SP at ACI in that GLORIOUS white costume, well that would be something else!! Gasps all round, just like 2 years ago!

    Well if Haru Yo Koi is anything to go by, we are in for a glorious experience come the new season!! Wishing Yuzuru a productive couple of months training .... oh and btw please be CAREFUL Yuzu!! (Yuzu and careful are maybe not such a good match! 😱😂)
