    Shoma and Nathan's approach could help quad their ways to the podium, but they're never going to be remembered in history as the greatest, among which Yuzu already is one. And I personally find it distasteful how much they seem to be okay with winning through subpar performances. If they actually do come out on top, it'll be such hollow victories

    There're good reasons why tanos are referred to as 'helicopters' :tongue: Imo it's much harder to make tanos look aesthetically digestable than it is rippons. moderation is still key though. which is why alina's FS at JWC didn't bother as much as I thought it would.

    Omg a real spiral in a programme! :clap: :yay: I LIVE for any type of spirals (except skid spirals - sorry Zhenya) :tongue: It's a shame the hydroblade is the only spiral in his routines now.. But I understand how this came to be and for what reason, so until he gets that second OGM I'm gonna zip my mouth in patience :yes:

    basically confirming Yuzu's superior technique to EVERYONE in the world, and how he works hard to keep that status but in a much more classy and reasonable tone, which is what Sendai natives seem to have in common

    I've rooted for her since forever :love: I was so happy when Yuzu said he'd give her all +3s for her jumps :grin: she needs more love. I have to confess that's when I started paying attention to her :tongue: And she is delightful :love: Yuzu's taste remains flawless, as always

    At this point, there's nothing to do but well, be immune to it Otherwise it's just super annoying. But if something eh pops up, don't be surprised, Olympics season after all. We're going to have plenty to talk about anyway. Will he land this, will he land that ... has he learned the polka to up his 3F GOEs. don't forget tanos, rippons AND changing costumes mid-jumps! maybe raise one or two more limbs above his waist while he's at it too, for good measure

    On tv. His textbook jumps. I mean you may think what you want, but this PR game is old, and Yuzu's been on the receiving end for years. It's just how this goes. Yeahhh I gave her the benefit of the doubt for the last jab at Yuzu, but her actually praising Shoma for his perfect techniques definitely doesn't clear any of them there's obviously sth fishy going on in the background

    Yeah I'm so glad Yuzu's not fighting his battle alone, at least not as much as his starting days But has Akiko actually verbally praised Shoma's jumps before? I can't seem to recall the exact moment she said that Because if she actually did.. well then their PR game is getting way too obvious if they have to even go that far to stretch the truth

    It's a given, considering he makes less revolutions in air and more two-footed skating than others Oh definitely! See how weird his jumps always look? They're never high enough for a proper quad, so his landing foot always touches the ice too soon before he could adjust his upper body, hence the "twist" in his knees. I don't think he'll have much problems with stamina; though knee pains and injuries on the other hand.. :crazy:

    :love: :love: :drool: :drool: so which one is which jump? seimei is probably axel? chopin looks like his trusty toe-loop :love: the one in red (i'm not sure of the programme) could be playful loop while the one holding out his hand could be his salchow :smile: the more forlorn ones do feel like flip and lutz which haven't been properly upgraded yet (you soon will be, little guys) :yes:

    Waaa thank you so much :yay: It's really a show-stopper isn't it? :love: It was one of the many ava pics shared in a Tumblr post, but it stood out to me right away, and I knew I had to save it for the day I become a member of GS - oops, I mean BS :tongue: But we all know how that turned out, so here I am instead :grin:
