    Lol I for one would not be terribly excited if Japan actually qualified for the team event. There's a very low chance of medalling, while single skaters are whipped into skating their best out of responsibility. I'm selfish and I want Yuzu to do his best at the Singles' event, NOT Team event :cry:

    I will be very surprised if he includes the 4Lz in competition next season. I still feel this season never completely jelled for him, despite winning Worlds again. He was really, really lucky and you know that he's well aware of that. I think as fans we often underestimate just how risky these quads are for skaters, not just physically risky but mentally as well. And based on comments both he and Brian have made, I'm pretty certain he'll have two new programs for the Olympics. Brian made Prince sound like a one-off, experimental music choice for him. And Yuzu has spoken of the downside of using H&L as the music for his FP. THIS. I think the sheer number of men doing so many quads and the number of quads EACH man are jumping growing in such a short period might have tilted our perception of quads to a degree. They're very hard and impossible to control ALL the time. Quads ARE risky; even an 'easy' one like 4S proved to be challenging at times. And the big O isn't the time to risk.

    YESSS the fan-made fans are finally here :love: :love: I love them so much, I used to look at them a few times a day trying to find more and more details in each fan, bc let me tell you there are a LOT of details. And besides, Yuzu's costumes already look very beautiful in the first place :love: I also aDORE each little cover that goes with each little fan too. That must have taken a lot of time to make!

    I actually liked Wakaba's Zorro program from 1516 season, at least the theme suited her very well :grin: would like to see a program like that but I kinda feel she will fall into warhorses again :silent: It's funny bc I have this feeling that it does seem likely she would pick another warhorse again. Which is fine if it accommodates her skating, I guess..

Uhmm that's.. surely another side of the coin I've never thought about The phrase has a positive connotation that's hard to carry through translations though, and I think it's always been used as a compliment from my experience

    He just has to keep being his amazing self. The guy has such personality and charisma, it's impossible not to be drawn to him. (The skating's pretty good too, I guess ) There's a proverb in my mother tongue that roughly translates to "natural scent travels far" (sorry I'm not articulate) which basically means your real talent will do all the talking for you and it's more effective than any words. I think it's very applicable to Yuzu and his immense presence as a human being even though sometimes it seems like he isn't one

    This Disney music is kinda juniorish but for May it worked - she is 17, looks like a cutie pie - but in Mariah case not so much, especially after East of Eden, but she could choose worse. Yeah this is Mai's first senior season, she's not in a rush to grow into a woman just yet. An age-appropriate programme is better than any pretentious and exploitive one all day :silent:

    Idk, I have this gut feeling that Yuzu's not gonna use the 4Lz in competition next season.. ;(( As much as I'd love to see it perfected like we all do, what I get from his interviews is that he won't seriously try to put it in a programme. He'll still practice it, but not with the same intention he had with 4l. I'd love to be proven wrong of course. I just feel like he'll either try to repeat another quad, or maximise his GOE and PCS..
