Was it that competition when he ate the sandwich with paprika in it? Iirc he said it was in Finland. Btw Finland is really a lucky place for him, he went there four times I think (2004, Finlandia Trophy 2x and ofc Worlds) and he won all four competitions.

He'd still have a bit time in Toronto if he decides to go and stay there until the beginning of November, and then he could go back before Europeans, too. But I just think 2 weeks in January probably wouldn't be enough to get into shape and win the title. As you say, the later he goes to TCC the slimmer his chances at Euros will be. I just really hope he'll compete at Europeans and say goodbye to his competitive career there. It would be just sad if he decides not to go...

He's not going back to TCC before ROI starts I think? There's less than three weeks left until the first show and he's not in Canada. So he's planning to go to Toronto in the beginning of January?

The new 2A looks so much better already. It's smooth with better body position and height. It's just a completely different technique from what she did before. Very good!

I would awesome to see a collab like that one day This year I've seen Plush at Kings on Ice skating to Nijinsky with Edvin's live music and it was really good - when I was there I would have never thought that Yuzu would choose Art on Ice and Magic Stradivarius as his LP music.

OT but this makes me think of a Japanese TV program they made after Sochi, it was about Mao who decided to visit countries which were connected to her skating music - she went to Vienna and then to Hungary. I don't remember much about the Viennese part but in Hungary she went visiting places related to Liszt and then to some sort ot tavern where there was live music and they played Monti csardas for her lol. It was fun.

Thank you for your translation, @Rainbow! Sota has been through hell in the past 2.5 years, and it's so good to see him back. I hope he gets stronger as the season progresses. It was a great success at Finlandia that his 3A is back and that he landed it in the SP. Also it's very nice how he praises the quality of Yuzu's jumps. I unhid your post.
