Yay, great idea! I was thinking about our old streaming parties lately. I've created a doodle, let's see how many of us would be interested in it! Please fill out here: https://doodle.com/poll/w6d2wsxu2vzwg8a2

Team we're fewer but still good!
sallycinnamon replied to Yatagarasu's topic in Igloo World: Team Other Skaters
French figure skating coach Jean-Francois Ballester, former coach of Aliona Savchenko and Bruno Massot died of a heart attack after he returned home from Tallinn Trophy yesterday evening. He was just 53 years old. Rest in peace. https://www.arcinfo.ch/articles/sports/autres-sports/le-professeur-international-jean-francois-ballester-est-decede-804604?fbclid=IwAR3TTJLonhVpaE3QZfljrMEwi6U8LVRBLj3SP0oHqjSukaHsRLoxYTtEudU -

Magazines and Photobooks - Recommendations and Reviews

I got some magazines as presents and they're all very good. 1. I can highly recomment the Shinshokan photobook which has 128 pages filled with beautiful, high quality pictures of Yuzu from season 2004/05 to 2017/2018. It also lists all results and programs of Yuzu from 2004/05. 2. This magazine covers ACI and there are also some pictures from the Olympic Games. 90-95% of the content is Yuzu 3. This magazine also covers ACI and there are many great pictures in it The quality of the pictures are really good. 90% of the magazine is Yuzu content. Iirc it was one of those magazines which are not available anymore for some reason (copyright/or some other reasons because of the content. Maybe the 2nd magazine too because I can't find it on amazon either). It's a pity because it's a very good one... -
Same I was very sad and cried a little today too even though it was a relief to know that he made the good decision and that he takes time to heal the injury. His health comes first.

Yuna received ANOC Olympic Award for Outstanding Performance, recognising South Korean's success at Vancouver 2010. Congratulations!

I don't think it's available in bookshops outside of Japan but it's easy to order it through Amazon JP which ships internationally. I also saw a Kindle version earlier. I was also thinking of a fan translation, like they did with Aoi Honoo too.

I am very thankful for those who already translated some parts from Team Brian II, but I really hope that some fans will translate the whole book one day, even though it takes so much time and effort to do it. Reading those excerpts makes me emotional and probably the whole book as interesting as the translated parts. Japanese fans told me in Moscow that is in an absolute must read for every Yuzu fans and they also asked me to read it if I'll have the chance. -- Today I've watched Seimei from NHK Trophy a couple of times. On this day three years ago Yuzu became the first skater who surpassed 200-point mark in the free skate and 300-point mark in the combinted total score with his skate at NHK.

Congratulations to the junior medalists! Were the other men really 4-5 points better in PCS in the SP than Shun? He could've won if his PCS would've been higher by just 0.5 point....and that would have secured him a spot at Junior Worlds. Imo Shun should get the second spot for Worlds. His scoring potential is huge with 2x 4T and 2x 3A in the free.

After seeing the Otonal costume twice in person I love the new version lot more than the ACI version. The dark gloves and the darker details which were added really make a big difference. His arms look longer because of the dark gloves, also the costume on his upper body doesn't look so short. The silver details which look like ice are so sparkly, they're so beautiful He looks regal in the costume (well ofc it is not just the costume, he looks so confident these days, he has an aura of a king!)
