But really, though? Marin, Satoko, and Shoma all don't have the greatest technique. 

However they have great skating skills so I guess it depends on what she wants to work on...maybe her jumping technique is already set.

I don't know much about coaching changes (this is my first post-Olympics season and wow, so much happening!  ).

Nevertheless, I'm still happily stuffing my face with popcorn. 

I'm not sure what purpose would there be if she stays at the same rink? Could it be that it's only a bluff because she intends to leave and train overseas?

They're saving face, Yata can tell us more. 

She's definitely not going to be coached by Eteri, and probably leaving Sambo for good, the only question is where to.

It's Saturday morning here...I need sleep, and now Zhenya does this. 

Well if she goes to TCC...better get defense gear ready. I would need to avoid Chinese yuzu fandom altogether, and can already foresee irl pals splitting up over where they stand on Zhenya in the same practice rink as Zu.

Who gets shipped with him more often? It's definitely not Daleman or Lil'bet. And who does he openly giggle, exchange mugs/gifts with? It's also not Daleman or Lil'bet. 

Honestly, I just broke this on wechat and that some speculations are that she's moving to BOrser, and even the guys in my rink wechat group are going "Oh, she's dating him? Is she following for love?"  Someone's not getting help on his axels tomorrow at practice.

I need to double check, but there are time restrictions on how long you can stay each time. I haven't read canadian visa rules for a while. >_>  Question is which category he would fall under, but then again, need to check what changes need to be done if he decides to go long term.

Wouldn't it be a work permit? Though this time, if full time especially, won't it be a student visa?

On the other hand...depending on what happens, I need to pay attention to some real life fanyus who might be slightly offended that someone that gets shipped often might start training with their imaginary hubby. 

Which means if someone does move to TCC, we might need to start being protective of her against some of the more radical corners of the Fanyu-dom? 

 

@Fay: maybe she'll continue with choreographers and ice time there, but get a second or even a main coach elsewhere? Who's a good techniques coach in Russia who happens to be a bit more independent? Mishin?

Please whatever happens let her get new choreographers 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
