sallycinnamon Posted September 25, 2019 Share Posted September 25, 2019 Anna Tarusina has announced her retirement. https://rsport.ria.ru/20190925/1559111487.html She won Alpen Trophy (Challenger event) last year, got two silver medals at the JGP Circuit and finished 8th at Russian nationals. She had a bus accident three years ago and had been struggling with injuries - most recently with a knee injury - since then. It’s weirder than this - Anna just announced she won’t be taking part in competitions this season due to her injuries and her study, but her coach Davydov announced that she was retiring effectively by stepping away from competition. I understand it's a risk(TP and judges are old fashined and Piazzolla is more accepted maybe then Florence)but still I hope she keeps it this way!
