sallycinnamon Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Anna Tarusina has announced her retirement. https://rsport.ria.ru/20190925/1559111487.html She won Alpen Trophy (Challenger event) last year, got two silver medals at the JGP Circuit and finished 8th at Russian nationals. She had a bus accident three years ago and had been struggling with injuries - most recently with a knee injury - since then. I will miss her skating and was looking forward to see her skating this season. I wish her all the best in her civil life.

It’s weirder than this - Anna just announced she won’t be taking part in competitions this season due to her injuries and her study, but her coach Davydov announced that she was retiring effectively by stepping away from competition.

Oh...it's really strange. If Anna didn't want to announce her retirement yet then Davydov should've respected that.

mercedes Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Yay for Liza ...I really like it more with Florence's song! I understand it's a risk(TP and judges are old fashined and Piazzolla is more accepted maybe then Florence)but still I hope she keeps it this way!
Fay Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Mihkail Kolyada needs medical treatment and won’t be able to take part in competitions, according to the latest announcement by RusFed. https://www.fsrussia.ru/news/4596-mikhailu-kolyade-predstoit-projti-kurs-lecheniya.html I guess he’s out of GP series at the very least.

Poor Misha. He is really cursed, isn't he? Wish him a quick recovery.
