You know as much as we complain about the scores, outside of the crazy high PCS and questionable selective calling, this event wasn't overscored liked the Ladies SP Olympic event. Only 2 people over 100 points. 

 

Man I miss Yuzu and Javi so much. They'd eat this group of youngsters for breakfast.

I can't believe they close their eyes for 10+ UR just to call Boyang's 4T . Vincent's combo, Nathan's 4F, Nam's 4T&4S were all UR. Minus Boyang, all top 6 were overscore. Shoma's stsq change from level 3 to 4 with a stumble is lol <-- Edit : I rewatched Shoma's sp and he did not stumble during stsq. I'm sorry if my words confuse anyone. 

IMO the ranking should be Kolyada-Boyang-Nathan-Keegan-Shoma. GOE for Kolyada, Nathan, Vincent, Shoma were too high.  I would give Kolyada 98, Boyang 96+ Nathan 95, Shoma 90. Vinvent, well,87- 88 <-- change the ranking because on slow mow, Boyang's 4T did look borderline. Its was close.

so Boyang's 4T was UR...it did look UR in the slow mo, but same with other skater's jumps that weren't called... And I'm even ok that they called it. But I'm not ok that other URs weren't called

And Boyang's goe on pretty much every element make me really sad...

Judges giving almost same TR of Mika to Nathan...ok... But Mika got all the levels yay!!!!!!!! No, he shouldn't be 2 points behind Nathan, sorry

Nathan and Vincent are overscored... Literally every one of Nathan's landings were bad and deserved -1 to -2 GOE (weak landing) while he barely hit any +ve GOE bullet. What is this rubbish.

 

I noticed Nathan got a lot of 3d level stpsqs and turns. I see in protocols they write 4level though i have to re-watch the SP as i remember seeing quite a lot of 3d level there.

Based on the GOEs they're giving, it seems like they're trying to make someone break Yuzu's record. But of course, that's not possible cos the quality of their skates aren't near that level yet.

 

I'm ok with lenient judging ONLY IF everyone's treated the same! Poor Boyang...

His stsq was level 4 from the beginning, and the last spin as well, I think. He almost always gets level 4 on the stsq, it's very neatly planned, that choreography.
