Again, born in the wrong country. Wrong continent, even.

yeah,i know,it was rhetoric...and can't say that i wasn't expecting this level of usfsa induced bullshit, especially after the chinese judge was investigated and the shameless us judge was not at the olys.after the b!tchslap they've got from the skating gods at the olympics they aren't going to take any chances any more and they'll stoop to anything,no matter how blatant.i absolutely dread the level of score manipulation that will happen in the +5 era for the usual suspects

UGH GUYS, im so sad for boyang! ; - ; I hate everything.

Nathan and Vincent are overscored... Literally every one of Nathan's landings were bad and deserved -1 to -2 GOE (weak landing) while he barely hit any +ve GOE bullet. What is this rubbish.

Problems with that: 1) was he forced to donate that pair? why did it? 2) what I heard was that pair is now too worn out anyway. So, again, still avoidable.

His old boot worn out too fast and the new one give him trouble even though he got a few weeks to break in. I agree it can be avoidable, but sometimes things just go wrong that skater can't control it. Keiji also have boot issue too.

I'm with you so we're both bitches!

I agree! You don't hear athletes of other sports attribute poor performance to equipment issues. I would even say it's expected for athletes competing at that level to have sufficient back-up plans. Even if equipment issues is the reason, then the more the athlete should be blamed for that.

Feeling sad about Boyang's score right now. I like Vincent but to place Boyang below him after that performance :(

I agree...I like Vincent, but I'll only root for him to podium when he grows into the awesome skater he has the potential to become.

46+ PCS with that stumble.

Look, I don't want to sound cruel for being strict with a skater who is not 100%. But this is what I mean by judging based on perceived ability, instead of what is delivered the moment it happens.

Works in favour of Uno, Chen, Kolyada, and Zhou.

Works against Jin.

it's been clear for some time now both in men and women that there's one set of rules(or better said application of the of the rules) for us,canadian, russian skaters and Shoma, and another one for rest of them plebs

Boyang's 4T was indeed called UR.

of course they freakin called it :free-fighting-smileys-156:  please shut em all up on the FS boyang :animated-smileys-angry-035:

I'm sorry Kolyada getting +2.57 in his 4T combo is totally bull pickle. He clearly nearly lost control over the 3T landing and  you're telling me that's Yuzuru level 4T combo? The Russian fed has much more power than I previously believed apparently.

Maybe it's because I stopped watching this GP season once Yuzuru was out, but I REALLY don't understand the love for Kolyada. I don't think he's a 9.0+ PCS skater at all and his jumps are scary unstable to be getting that kind of GOE all the time.

Sod all of it.

Ugh.

Give me Yuzu getting the feel of the ice instead of the free skate.
