    2018/19 GP Assignments

I went to Worlds in Milan because I thought that'd be the only chance to see Yuzu in Europe for a while and now he's coming here for both GP assignments haha typical I won't be going to either of them but honestly it'll be nice just to have the competitions on at a normal time of day for me instead of having to wake up at the crack of dawn or go to bed too late like for Canada or Japan. Just perfect Thanks Zu

Thanks for inspiring me to go for a walk this evening I think (hope) Yuzu would like it here, figure skating isn't big so he'd probably not be recognised in most places

    [2018] Continues~with Wings~

I've only just finished watching the broadcast and I feel like everyone's probably said all my feelings already (haven't yet experienced the joy of reading through the broadcast viewing thread) but I just can't help but be struck again by how amazing Yuzu is. It's like every time I think he can't get any more brilliant than he already is, he outdoes himself again, not just in his skating but as a person too. The show seemed so wonderfully set-up, the corners were interesting and funny (from what I could understand) and he was so sweet with the children, so grateful to everyone for participating, so thoughtful towards the various audiences all over the world. It was so great to see all the performances of his from the past few days as well, I wasn't expecting that, and it really shows how much he's gained every year in terms of skating skills and power in his movements. I'm just.....idk, blown away.

Finally caught up with this thread *sweat drop* I'm generally a lurker on the whole forum anyway but so many posts in one go is ahhhhhh. It's fun to see everyone's reactions to things though, since I'd already seen the news on Twitter when I got up. There's no way I'll be waking up at 5am for the broadcast (sorry Yuzu I'm a fake fan) so I look forward to seeing everyone's reactions tomorrow too~~~ Ah but the Etude costume really is stunning isn't it...

I'm confused about the domestic shipping tbh because the website says orders over 2500 yen are free but then for this purchase the price is 500 yen.... Idk how much help it might be to people but I'm considering ordering through a proxy service and choosing a cheaper shipping option than the one offered by HMV

I'm currently debating over the same thing. I really don't need any new Tshirts but .. . . .I kind of want it . .. ..

I don't think Yuzu really needs somebody around to motivate him. He and Javi training in the same place and constantly challenging each other was obviously great for both of them (and skating in general) in terms of pushing each other to get better faster, but it's not like the internet doesn't exist for Yuzu to see what his other main rivals are up to at other competitions. But more than that, isn't it that his main rival is himself? I see him continuing skating not just to win over other skaters but I guess to try and continue showing perfect, well-rounded skating that people love, to maybe try to break his world records again, to challenge himself to the 4A etc. That doesn't really come from other skaters (as far as I see it, I could be wrong though) but from his own love of skating and of competition. Rather than lack of motivation, the thing I'd be concerned about with Javi no longer in Toronto is Yuzu having friends while he's there. Although apparently they didn't hang out so much outside of the rink, so maybe Mr Introvert will be just fine.......idk

We Yuzu fans are masochists after all....
  14. Noooooo I should've known post-Olympic Worlds would be like this.....damn it...........
  15. Did Javi really confirm that he's not going? I've accepted in my heart that Yuzu won't be there but I was hoping to cheer for Team Cricket still........
