I really hope there's a DVD of GIFT, I refuse to believe tomorrow afternoon will be the last time I get to watch it Every time I rewatch a bit and think 'oh yeah that was my favourite performance of the whole show', the next bit starts and that becomes my favourite, and then the next and the next and the next... I just can't get over how much of his absolutely gorgeous skating we got to watch, how deeply he let us see into his experiences that must've been harder than we can even comprehend, and the insane feat of performing so many high-level performances one after the other It's incredible how everyone always has such high expectations of Yuzu and yet he still manages to blow those expectations out of the water. What an incredible show he created for us

I remember the one time I watched Mezamashi for Yuzu I sat through about 3 hours of them repeating the same news stories over and over for about 30 seconds of footage that we'd already seen ...

I think he was trying to demonstrate the position he needs to be in at takeoff for a 4A but that's all I grasped from that haha. Even his triple looked huge though, I don't know if it's just because I haven't seen it properly for a while or.......

Wasn't expecting to see this news when I checked Twitter this evening hahaha I like both the songs though. I was surprised at first because Nijinsky is so iconic but I trust that Yuzu will make it his own Hearing that he's landed the 4A but not 'perfectly' though . .. . pls Yuzu let us live

I went to Worlds in Milan because I thought that'd be the only chance to see Yuzu in Europe for a while and now he's coming here for both GP assignments haha typical I won't be going to either of them but honestly it'll be nice just to have the competitions on at a normal time of day for me instead of having to wake up at the crack of dawn or go to bed too late like for Canada or Japan. Idk how much help it might be to people but I'm considering ordering through a proxy service and choosing a cheaper shipping option than the one offered by HMV

I don't think Yuzu really needs somebody around to motivate him. He and Javi training in the same place and constantly challenging each other was obviously great for both of them (and skating in general) in terms of pushing each other to get better faster, but it's not like the internet doesn't exist for Yuzu to see what his other main rivals are up to at other competitions. But more than that, isn't it that his main rival is himself? I see him continuing skating not just to win over other skaters but I guess to try and continue showing perfect, well-rounded skating that people love, to maybe try to break his world records again, to challenge himself to the 4A etc. That doesn't really come from other skaters (as far as I see it, I could be wrong though) but from his own love of skating and of competition. Rather than lack of motivation, the thing I'd be concerned about with Javi no longer in Toronto is Yuzu having friends while he's there. Although apparently they didn't hang out so much outside of the rink, so maybe Mr Introvert will be just fine.......idk

We Yuzu fans are masochists after all....
