Shoutout to Aliev. Seemed like he truly injured himself but kept skating anyway

Damn, he did? I was too nervous and distracted to pay attention properly.

Both Yuzu and Javi will have their names on the TCC Olympic medalists corner :tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw:

I don’t know anything, but I bet he would’ve stopped if it wasn’t Olys. Clutching his hip during, limping off after

I am just so happy.

An injury, 2 silvers, only started jumping 3A three weeks ago, quads two weeks ago.

But now, NOW!!

Zu, you are just so inspiring. It's worth it. Going through the nonsensical judging of this sport is worth it. For you, it is wort it.

*now, I will be happily ignoring US media's telling of this tale... wait

See, this. Now that Chen won the FS, you guys are gonna put him on the pedestals once more, ignoring the 4 people scoring rightly above him - that's after he was overscored and the rest were underscored. This is why he would not be a champion anytime soon.

*now, I can truly ignore that

You mean like how Nathan won CoR despite losing free skate and us irrational fanyus were graceful enough to note that despite whatever, a win is a win and Nathan did win?

Ouch that's terrible. :/ I hope it's nothing too bad. And that if it isn't, they'll give him the time to recover and come back slowly, he's an excellent prospect.

i cant believe that tarot card reading at the start of the season is all true.... the details in that :tumblr_inline_mqt4grU8ua1qz4rgp:

The question is: is Yuzu going to have one (like his and Javi's world golds) or two plaques? :P

They were going with him! If only he hadn't flubbed the 4T combo.

I know...one more perfectly clean jump and he might have had even higher PCS! And that may have beat Nathan's LP too-imagine a 5 quad program losing to a 4 "simple" quads program. It would have shouted quality over quantity decisively so. And Takahashi was right-judges are now coming back to value quality again. Nate's score might be more of US fed power than anything.

But hey, goals for Milan.

But man, the last flight was overall quite nice, not the splatfest of Sochi! And he won decisively, no matter what US media says, it's about putting 2 programs back to back well, and he went 1-2 overall.  Both him, and Javi making history today has got to be the best thing in a long time!
