Kaetlyn has 6 points to make up in the FS. Or Gabby might just win Nationals.... though Gabby needs to not eff up either. 

Apart from the techniqual mistakes, it was far from her best performance-wise either...I think the applause for Gabby and her scores may have distracted her.

I wanted to write the same...that Olympics pressure will be 10x worse than this. But it's better to make a mistake here than at the Olympics. She can learn from this, hopefully.

I get what Debbi is saying.. going full speed ahead into elements is exciting to see and very few people can do it... but you just have to be able to do it and land your jumps or it means nothing.

 

Remember what I said earlier about Debbi as a commentator (and I listened to her for years): sometimes she is ok, sometimes she is very annoying, like the little bit there. I was very glad when she stopped being on the air.

 

Now i'll go and watch rod and Tracy Wilson commentate over on TSN...

Since Kaetlyn usually messes up one of her programs, and she had a fall in the SP. Does that mean we will finally get a clean FP from her  

 

Gabi looked sharp and I totally love her dress, hopefully she will deliver in the free which has been her nemesis all season

Is just me or was the competition a bit low on energy?!! 

I think Kaetlyn would really benefit from a clean long program to give her some confidence. That sp mistake was very rare and her sp can usually be relied upon... maybe a clean free is something she needs more...
