Can I just say how weird it is to have a Saturday morning with no competition to watch or catch up on? Super weird. And it’s gonna be the norm again really soon.

I was wondering why I felt so dead inside today. At least during off season we can all go nuts about ice shows and speculate about music and costume choices. I'm going to have to leave the house and enjoy summer, aren't I?

 

The pairs and dance have all the main major players, (barring late exits), so those will be exciting...

 

The ladies event is still pretty strong without Med. I expect Alina and Kaetlyn to be the top players here... with 3rd spot being up for grabs... maybe home field/crowd advantage might play here...

 

The Men. Sigh. A battle between Nathan and Shoma is the headline I expect, but the rest of the field all have their own strengths so battle for bronze is up in the air... it may not be what everyone hoped for or expected at season's start, but I am sure the guys see this as a big opportunity... hope they all compete well.

Why can I see it happening with how the season has been developing so far  Very unlikely, but I don't even know what is sure in this world anymore  

 

I'm both sad and excited. Looking forward to junior and senior ladies, really unpredictable 

Think with this GPF, for once I can watch with no stress , and even watch it on TV in prime time while eating tonkatsu  (since I'll be in Japan). Am cheering for Uncle Sergei though, who I have a sentimental spot for.

Thursday and Friday are going to be tough, events will be in the mornings until lunchbreak, I need to pretend that I work then And on Friday I'm going to a figure skating competition in the afternoon, too It will be fun!

 

I'm rooting for the Sergei and Misha, Wakababy, Tessa and Scott and in the pairs...well I like the Sui/Han, both Russians and Aliona and Bruno too, so may the best team win the the competition
