PCS difference was 3.1 points, the overall difference is 3.9 points...it was very tight, the French won the free skate but Tarasova/Morozov's lead in the SP was enough to win this event.

 

I enjoyed J/C's skate the most tonight...I also like the Russians but it was far away from their best skate today.

J/C should have won here.

I like Zhenya and Vova very much, I want decent programs for them. Is that much to ask for?

Wow, with the exception of the top 2 teams switching placements in the free, the entire event results stayed the same from the sp. Looks like a dance event under the 6.0 system, lol.

Yeah. They'll have to tie break with whoever gets bronze of those two. UNLESS D/R place third and Y/Z and S/M are first and second. In that case J/C are out, unfortunately. 

darn I want both J/C and S/M in the final too  I hate gp selection rules

This is sad. J / C merits this victory.

if D/R placed 3rd (26 pts) then whomever from Y/Z and S/M who placed 2nd (24 pts) will be in the tie breaker with J/C (24 pts).. J/C will get in IF Y/Z or S/M placed first (26 pts), D/R placed 2nd (28 pts), and the other from Y/Z or S/M placed third (22 pts)
