why do I feel you're totally right?:sadPooh:

Just "because Yuzu" :consoling2:

Catching up here as well (in no particular order):

1. Vincent: :13877886: I think his team is trying to go for the Nathan Chen route of quads = pcs rise but they seriously need to rethink this strategy.

2. Shoma: .... /sigh/ I think that 4F should be << and that performance is not 46 worthy.. and he does have good quality to his skating but it just didn't show here (which is understandable since he didn't have a lot of practice time since SC because of the flu).. also Hanretty just said Shoma and 'prerotate' in the same sentence... what is going on?

3. Javi: Good for him! He really needs this confidence boost and glad to see Brian as well.

4. Samarin: I'm entertained by him but his PCS is ??? (I've got the feeling Russia is gunning for that team gold medal again)

5. Misha: Lovely skate. Always nice to see him perform.

6. Denis: Wonderful SS. Hope he stays healthy.

Last person who I was happy to see get a confidence boost in SP was Anna Pogorilaya... :slinkaway:

This is it. IdF has been blessed for this reason only xDDD

No but actually, I loved Javier's program, he was really into it and I'm glad he was able to give it his all. Very, very enjoyable and also kind of touching in certain moments!! Which is strange because Javi hardly ever goes there emotionally, but the music definitely helps.

I'm sorry about the fall for Shoma - it looked bad but I guess he didn't hurt himself too much. He will give it his all to get that 14 points difference out of the way in the LP, and, knowing him, he might even succeed... if Javi makes him. Javi seems in top form, I really hope he will show a nice Long program.

Btw, Javi is, like, one of the few skaters who didn't release any kind of public statement regarding Yuzu, right? I mean, he probably sent his 'get well soon' wishes personally, but, you know.

Last question: at what time will Men's FS be tomorrow? *shows me praying to the Skating Gods that it will be after my work shift*

Amazing!! For once, my time is the same as local time :war: And my shift is during lunch (waitressing job) so I'm having the evening all by myself, at home, in my bed, under the covers, watching cool guys splatting on the ice  creating art on blades  Best saturday night ever. (btw my whole city will be following football matches. Lol who cares about football when you can have sparkly butts and scary jumps.)

Canadians might find themselves in a bit of a bind.

I KNOW! The men were the weakest link for Russia and I thought with Patrick we'd be pretty strong against them, relatively speaking, but now Patrick is thinking who knows what and Kolyada is getting huge marks.. Samarin with those PC??!!... if Bobrova/Soloviev start really hitting it out of the ball park come GPF/Europeans I'll be convinced there's some finagling going on... i mean, more so than usual...
