 Watching the live broadcast reminded me that Figure skating is a minority niche sport in China, even though the sports fed is trying to promote it more for 2022. 

 

It’s alright. :consoling2: Today was actually much better, the arena almost filled except for the corners. (It being Saturday certainly helped. ) I think the sport needs stars to gain popularity, and ours are pretty young and new, so time will help. Even Yuzu is helping popularize the sport in China, too - there were quite some Yuzu fans in the stadium, becoming fans of the sport because they’re first introduced to it by him! :pbow:

    Yikes, skating with stomach pain must be terrible. I do believe most skaters have this problem though. Remember when Yuzu, Nobu and Shoma said they all had stomach-anxiety pains before performances?

    Hasn't the gala started already or did I get the wrong time? The stream on CBC started but it says "Program about to start"?

    Gala is 2.30pm local time I think? About 40 minutes to go.
