Some photos from practices

As if things weren't exciting enough...

This might help with figuring out the livestreams later on.

Go Liza, get that 3A again!

Ladies OP video

Alina lands the 2A-3T-3Lo-3Lo at the 4:30 mark.

Marin seems to have replaced her opening 3Lz-3T in the SP with a 3F-3T.

I don't know if it's only due to the lower audio quality or it's my own wishful thinking tricking my hearing, but I think they smoothed the transition into the Cantina theme, because to me it doesn't feel that jarring anymore (though I still find a bit abrupt the end of that section, but depending on the choreo it might work. In Finlandia Boyang dropped his arms and it looked as if he didn't know what to do).

I've also noticed that while in Finlandia Boyang did the spin and then his step squence started right after Darth Vader's breath, I think here he marked a jump after the "breath" (salchow maybe?). I'm looking forward to see the program with all the jumps and spins in place

kudos for Kurt recognizing Boyang's qualities outside of jumps. I like that there are commentators raising their voices for him (the ITA ESP did the same). Sadly Boyang has this bad reputation about his footwork that doesn't mirrors anymore how he is now and what he does. He's improving but he doesn't get credit for that (or not as much as he'd deserve in comparison to what other people do) and it's annoying. It's true that judges have little time to judge during the actual competition, but they get to watch the practices, too, so they shouldn't be stuck with reputation from past seasons.

I can't see the video, sadly (doesn't open in this computer) but yay for Marin deciding to go back to her 3F3T.

5 quads planned for Vincent in his FS!

That Vincent would repeat the 4Lz eventually I already expected, but no 4T? I guess it's worth too little comparatively and maybe he has better luck with the 4S.

I have questions about the last picture (bottom right?) What were they watching that got them sorta spooked but clapping? Liza's 3A?
