Him taking about his asthma... I always want to hug him but now I wanted to do so because I know that fucking feeling of not being able to breathe and having to be rushed into the hospital while your mother is crying and just praying that you don't die in the car. 

I got that speech too, that you can definitely be a world class athlete even if you have asthma. But I'm not Yuzu and I was too scared to even try, so I more often than not, sat during phys Ed time. 

 

A bit of gushing but... Yuzu, you have no idea how much I admire you for this. It's easy to forget that you struggle with such a terrible disease, and that you never know when it's going to strike. It's almost as scary as an earthquake, but this thing is something your own body does. That you keep fighting despite all this... It takes a special kind of courage and determination that few people have, but when it happens it leads to great things. I'm happy that kids struggling with this have such a figure to look up to. 

And thank you for speaking about it. I don't think I can find words at this hour of the night to express exactly what I'm feeling, but I hope this September these feelings will reach you and there won't be any need for words. You've pushed me to do things that I would thought impossible and because of that, I want to give you the only thing I can, to the amazing athlete you are: my unconditional support.

I can't believe that a performance with Hiromi Go may have just become one of my favorite Yuzu performances ever...

He has leveled up yet again... a thousand fold... how does he do it?... It's just unfathomable....

@Hydroblade I share your sentiments - my daughter has asthma and it's sometimes scary for her, and me too! I love him for addressing this publicly (I don't like the use of terms like "admitting" he has asthma - it sounds as if he has something to be ashamed of, and therefore something to hide, whereas it's just the opposite!) and know how important it is for children and young people with asthma to have such a fabulous role model! Another thing to thank him for!  YUZU!!

It also happens a lot on western true crime documentaries/shows and it's equally ridiculous.

I just saw the performance a second time after being out all day and it's even more beautiful than the first time  I think the only thing that can help us is another Yuzu fix... may ACI come soon (although you might not survive that, Hydro, but please do your best xD)

Me too. 

Never in the world I had a thought that I would love this performance before.

Now I love this as MUCH as I love 'Believe' Ex  (now I'm gonna replay it until I get bored.  well, I think I will never get bored to see yuzu skate! Even though I  saw it for 1923765 times)
