Yuzu is just sooooo inspirational. And Sora kun is too cute! That focused face during the show and that cute nod next to Yuzu... OMG dead.

 

I gasped when they revealed he had an asthma attack two weeks before Worlds, and startled my mom who was watching the stream with me but couldn't understand Japanese. She was speechless when I translated to her, and went on questioning about whether training figure skating is good for the lungs. She said if she was in Yumi's place, she would never be able to stop worrying even if she kept her child under her eyes all the time.

I've loved the costume but hated the song in the 2014 version, but I have to admit Go san did much better this time.

I think this version has exceeded Believe within me. (because of the costume, he looks just like a prince!) I agree he kind of outgrew(?) the choreography, it seemed a bit plain (just like Believe) compared to recent programs but his beautiful skating made up for anything. I was like "WOW" at the first 4T but literally screamed at the Biellman, that was breathtaking!

I don't know why but this time the song touched me very much. Translated the lyrics in case anyone's interested. It is beautifully written.
