[2017] Fantasy on Ice (FaOI) in NIIGATA 2017

I went to Makuhari and Kobe, and will go to Niigata on Saturday.
I am already starting to feel a bit blue because after next Saturday I don't know when I will see Yuzu live. The ticket situation of NHK Trophy, GPF, and Nationals seems like... hopeless. It must be a miracle if I could go to even one day of those events.:sadPooh:

By the way, today I received a mail from a ticket agency I bought a ticket of FaOI Niigata from. It says taking photos or videos during the show is strictly prohibited and if they find out someone doing so, they will order them to delete the data and to get out of the venue.
This is the first time I got such a warning mail. Is there anyone who took videos in Makuhari or Kobe? I just feel strange.:yznotimpressed:

I remember watch one short video from instagram for opening at Makuhari. Not from skater because the recording audience from above.

what? that is very mean with no broadcast scheduled :sadPooh: not that we saw any photos or videos from the audience either (just from skaters, FaOI Facebook, noto-san, and ari zakarian who is sports reporter or some sorts)

He is manager of Plu, acrobat pair and some other skaters.

I found two more news clips of past FaOI in Niigata. Both of these have a glimpse of young Yuzu.

Thank you for posting these clips.  I really enjoyed them even though I don't speak Japanese.

Do you have any clips of the 2015 shows?

And, did anyone take Yuzu's place as headliner last summer when he couldn't participate?

Sorry for being late to reply. Here are the links of FaOI 2015 I have now…

Yuzu’s performances in FaOI 2015 in Makuhari and Shizuoka (Vertigo and Believe)

Hello, I love you in FaOI 2015 in Shizuoka combined with same program performed in Stars on Ice 2013

New clip of FaOI 2015 in Shizuoka 1

New clip of FaOI 2015 in Shizuoka 2

FaOI 2015 in Kobe (ABC version)1  *you can also find 2-4 in this page

As for last summer, as answered in other posts there wasn’t any skater who was highlighted as the headliner, but Stephane was the last skater of the shows. As you can see in the news clips from 2010 and 2011, he has been one of the regular skaters and the stars of this show for long time, and he’s been keeping the quality of his performance all these years, so it was natural to see him in that skating order. Although it was sad to see the show without Yuzu, the show itself was worth seeing.

La Valse by Stephane Lambiel with Kotaro Fukuma in FaOI 2016 in Kobe

But I’m so happy to be able to see Yuzu in FaOI this year!

Thanks so much for all these links. I wonder, have there been similar news clips about FaOI 2017 from Makuhari or Kobe? It's possible they were posted here but I missed them for some reason.

Oh wow, that's so great! You'll be able to see Yuzu in all three shows! :smiley-happy085:

Please do tell us about any amazing shenanigans he gets into in Niigata. We will all just be so excited to hear anything from there.

I learned from Kobe not to expect anything, but I have FB, Twitter and Instagram opened in tabs just in case .

Give us something! :party0021:
