Hi everyone! according to an email I got, single tickets will go on sale in early October :smiley-happy085: And apparently they will send more info about it to those who are subscribed to the newsletter.

Geez, I almost got a heart attack when they answered, thought the tickets were up, ugghhhh, my mind went: :volcano:

I'm already so anxious about the day they actually go on sale, oh god :tumblr_inline_ncmifiE3IT1rpglid:

:13877886: I'll be on vacation and probably without proper wifi for the first two weeks of October :13877886:I thought they would go on sale in September :13877886: whyyyyyyyy

Oh. no problem. After all, this is Italy. Early October means sometime November. ;-)

Do tickets for Worlds fly away as fast as they do for Gran Prix series?

This will be my first time trying to get tickets and I'm super anxious :tumblr_inline_n18qr5AMus1qid2nw:

Depends how the sale will go. For Helsinki tickets went on sale in parts, don't know how it will be in Italy.

We'll just have to wait and hope for the best

Somehow I doubt it. Just look at the sales for the all-event tickets; Nothing to write home about. People are being realistic; some die-hard general skating fans have bought tickets, but others feel the prices don't justify a post-Olympics Worlds with what will likely be a "devalued" firld of skaters.

I suppose some Yuzu fans may just wait and see if he bothers to show up before spending what will likely be quite a lot of money for single tickets.

Okay, so interesting things are happening. There are now all-event tickets available again.
*But*, only for 9 events... i.e. the practices have disappeared. Instead, "in addition to being able to see the best skaters in action in the 9 events scheduled", you also get a trip to a fashion mall.

Hohum. I am just a tad annoyed now, because I actually am an Italian fashion fan of sorts (huge Save the Queen! fan), and this is actually something I might be interested in (although I cannot imagine there being much for sale there that I wouldn't be able to find in the fashion *capital* of Milan... ;-) )

AND, this is a big AND, all seats have changed categories! The have all been upgraded (for instance, what was gold is now platinum etc)
The most expensive category available is now Platinum at 830 euros, but they are, in fact, what used to be Gold seats.

Edited to fix stupid mistake. ;-)

the Italian way of selling tickets confuses the heck out of me to be honest :smiley-rolleyes009: I wonder what they'll come up with once they start selling individual tickets

I feel it is misleading in a way. You expect to get the "best" seats with Platinum, but those aren't available anymore, at least not at this point in time. So, they turn the second-best category into the best category, suggesting you still get super awesome seats...

also, I really don't understand why the practices aren't included anymore.

Can you not go to the fashion mall by yourself :?:

Sure, but it's an hour out of Milan, apparently. I probably won't bother. (Not sure I would have if it were included, though, to be honest... I think I can see enough in Milan. :-) )

and who knows when they actually plan this trip... likely during practices, because when else, really?

seems to be a very weird thing to add to a figure skating package  haha, but...if there's interest, why not

Oh, I don't know... this is Milan, after all. And figure skating fans are generally in the same category as, say, equestrian fans: we're mostly women and there's money 💰 in a lot of pockets. (Very sweeping general statement, but there's truth in there, too.)

So... chances are some people are gonna be interested in spending some of that money on luxury goods.
