🥺😭 Why do i feel like his retirement is coming sooner than we expected.

😭😭 imho japanese people tend to resign/retire when they "fail" to do their jobs 😭😭

It's actually really impressive that 2018 him is not his final form.

Exactly, he improved a lot since 2018. SO MUCH. His skating skills are just madly greater, his deep edges, his control over his whole body. It's so sad that the ice-hole thing happened and many started to doubt him. But if Yuzu manages to move on from this misfortune mentally (which I hope he will with the help of his family), he can continue for at least two more seasons. There is no slowing in his skating, his jumps are just phenomenal. I never said 4A is impossible too, he can achieve it taking his time. But all I fear is that these misfortunes take a mental toll on him. That's it. Otherwise, he is far from slowing down.

He won’t retire until he does clean ratified 4A. We just need to wait.

I read in twitter that there are traces of marijuana on Nikita's Test

Didn't Calalang and Johnson jyst go through all this? And the culprit turned out to be something in her shampoo?

I think the IOC might need to start reconsidering their marijuana ban tbh. Hemp/cannabinoids are in so many normal products now...

I am against corruption but if it must insist, the best outcome for me if Yuzu has no chance to medal would be

1. ISU doesnt do anything about ROC therefore further exposing their corruption. This way no chance of USA or Japan getting gold.

2. Yuzu at least gets ratified 4A or withdraws

3. Shoma wins gold. Of the remaining contenders I root for Shoma the most because he just seems to take the gold the most lightly. Idc what Japan will think or how he will get scored later. I know it wouldnt be worse than Yuma being the youngest OGM. The way Yuma is scored here is worse than Nathan from 17/18 season. Yuma actually scored higher in the sp than Nathan at Saitama with lower bv. He is scored as if he was Yuzu level now. If he wins gold or silver his scores will be massive going forward

Also I don't believe he has never landed 4A in practice. He isn't dumb to just practice 4A<< or 4A< and include it in competitions. He definitely has landed it in practice and KNOWS he can do it.

I watched his practice one more time and he was definitely in pain and grimacing when he tried to jump later. And incredibly frustrated. I do not remember him ever looking this pissed at practice, not even at 2019 final. I have major flashbacks about him tightening his shoe laces. He did the same in Boston. Because he wanted his foot to be numb so he would not feel any pain.

I am terrified what possibly might happen tomorrow. Not because of results but because of his confidence and motivation. We know how incredibly strong he is and i always keep in mind ‘never underestimate Mr. Hanyu’ and he taught me to believe in miracles. But everything feels So Much Wrong. Like i completely understand him wondering if that place hates him. Because like… wtf has been happening to him. He looked so good at nationals and at his first two practices here and short program warm up. One stupid hole and just how much everything changes?

Imo, Shoma has the least chance for the gold among the top three. But he is my favorite among these three too. Yuma can't take gold too, because his 4Loop isn't ready and I doubt the judges always give +GOE to step out jumps. The scoring was done to make sure Nathan will take the gold securely and safely. Also if Yuzu isn't badly injured, the person who most likely won't be consistent is Shoma and in the most miraculous situation, Yuzu might take bronze.

If Rondo was clean, I bet you wouldn't have told this. I disagree. He is the best he has ever been, he told this himself too. But 4A is risky so it causes frequent damages. One non-ideal open practice after a big misfortune, doesn't define him. All I see in his skating and jumps is improvement. Even his consistency is better than before.

I apologized if this sounded like i was belittling yuzu skating abilities. I love yuzu and his god tier skating abilities with all of my heart. If rondo was clean, my opinion is still the same because inevitably, age and injuries are no stranger to professional athletes. U can tell his speed and agility is not as fast as it was 10 years ago but his jumps, spins , steps are still top notch and unmatched. His interpretation on ice along with the music is just beautiful. 💕💕💕

Yeah I expect it to be Nathan big gap Yuma big gap Shoma. Just my silly wish here. but yeah its super unlikely unless everyone else bombs. One thing Ive noticed is when he isnt the gold contender he tends to do better. Thats why he was able to get his consistency back this season bc he hasnt been considered that much of a threat anymore. Not even silver contender. When he skates with Yuzu he does well bc he knows Yuzu will do well so he just have to do his job. He doesnt carry much national weight. So here since Yuma has placed above him, maybe he might land his quads? I hope he could really I would rather see him place above Yuma.

Imo, because he isn't wilding on the ice anymore tbh. He is in control of his skating and his emotions now. He performs in control to me.

Also, I apologize if I sounded harsh. I didn't mean anything, I was just stating my opinion.

His jumps and spins became better. In 2018-2019 his jumps might be called q. Now they are fully rotated and spins are more centered
