ugh so i went to the live viewing and truly shaken to the core, my thoughts during prologue were : - everytime the camera showed us the sold out venue i felt so godd*amn proud, fanyu ego is real. - wait...he started with a warm up?? - "Ichiban, Hanyu Yuzuru" i want to cry - why i feel so nervous this isn't competition but during Seimei i was so nervous i think i could throw up - i love LOVE the red-black costume so much - omg his arm looking HUGE on screen - omg he's looking for the camera, audience in my cinema chuckled - is it just me or he looks so much more mature especially during the talking segment - the lights from those bangle things are so pretty, omg LGC.... - audience in my theater is so cute clapping politely and chuckled during yuzu QnA session, i think covid restriction also prevented us from screaming or talking loudly - my cinema was packed (around 170 seats), i sat a the front row near the screen so when i said his arm looking huge it was truly HUGE. My eyes were blessed. - hello i love you, are you kidding me yuzu i love hello i love you thats like my favourite hello i love you i mean HELLO WE LOVE YOU do you understand yuzu - the ice projection during the new program and HYK......how much is the budget of this show, yuzu deserved this so much, this is THE ice show, will people show up next year for Faoi/SOI/DOI after the extravaganza that is PROLOGUE?? why would i pay for 3 hours show with so much filler and barely 10 minutes of yuzu when i can get 90 minutes full of Yuzuru Hanyu with extra bonus of olympic level ice projection at the same price??? - that was the shortest 90 minutes of cinema in my life, when he screamed arigatou gozaimashita i was so surprised, wait, IT'S OVER????ALREADY???WHYY???YUZU COME BACK PLEASE - of course there's an encore!!!PW!! and now i want those prologue shirt - awww the 2 cute obaasan ladies next to me laughing at the fact that the screen was way tooo close but they look so happy - at the bus stop these 2 women behind me was talking animatedly about how fun the show was, how happy they were, reminiscing Sochi and when Yuzu competed with Patrick, my heart was so full and warm and there's a huge grin behind my mask and a bit of (happy) tears (ma'am, sorry i eavesdrop your conversation, i really wanted to join but my japanese is so bad hahaha) - I'm so happy now i'm crying again

Yeah and imho Jmedia also treated Ohtani with more respect, maybe it's because media think Ohtani is more popular in US so he's more impressive?. No offense to baseball fans, i think baseball is too boring to become mainstream sport worldwide. It's not soccer or f1 where adrenaline goes high from start to finish. I really can't see Ohtani become more popular worldwide because baseball itself just isn't that attractive to casual viewers. Meanwhile, figure skating is also kind of boring when not done right, but Yuzuru imho has better a chance than Ohtani to become household name worldwide. The potential is there and Beijing, as sad as it was, gave us preview of that and how easy it was for him to attract casual viewers. We really haven't seen the peak of Yuzuru Hanyu yet, and imho the term Prologue is really fitting, as this is really just a start from him.

I actually live in japan rn so i thought maybe i had the chance and i could get one and maybe japan fanyus just exaggerated when they said getting ticket was difficult. Now i've learned the lesson 😭😭. Never underestimate Yuzuru Hanyu. When other ice shows and comps are struggling to sell tickets, you need to win a lottery to buy his ticket. I'm going tobtry again on 22th for the the general sales😭. Wish me luck, everyone 😭😭

Off topic but it suddenly came to my mind that Yuzu sending huge flowers to artist was such a power move from him. It remind me of that manga "Glass Mask" where CEO Masumi send newcomer artist Maya huge flowers arrangement so that people will notice her and remind them that this person is being supported by an influential person. I know fanyus are often joke that Yuzu looks like a CEO but Yuzu does think and act like one sometimes 😅

This. Tbh it would be unfair to everyone if Yuzu still compete now because it's like you have these level 20ish skaters and then bam Yuzuru Hanyu lvl 99 entering comps lol (final boss bgm playing). That would be an overkill (eventhough he'll be underscored A LOT but everyone with eyes can see the huge gap). The more i think about it the more i feel indifferent about some skaters/jsf/isu using his name for clout because Yuzuru right now is playing a different league, he is aiming higher than any of these people could ever dream of. Others can have their crumbs because in the end Yuzu have the entire feast.

He's a very very smart guy for finding this 'loophole' so that everyone can enjoy the content and tv station didnt breach of any copyright agreement, win win solution for everyone

imho current promo is really something else, i think not even shohei ohtani got these huge pillars on tokyo station kind of promo, they really went all out maybe they also after that broadcasting right for a certain someone's ice show

This maybe off topic but i just want to say : yuzu pro era is the happiest i've ever been as a fanyu. As a 2019 fanyu, 90% of my experience is anger, sadness and bitterness when it comes to figure skating and how they treat yuzu. Torino, JNats 19, that d*mn ISU awards, covid, beijing, are all so depressing and gave me a lot of negative feelings. Just how many times i have to see my fave getting disrespected and humiliated over and over again. To be honest at that time i was a bit jealous with older fanyus who experience the ups of his career like pyeongchang and hope and legacy triumph. But these few weeks after he fired isu and jsf made me so happy to become a fanyu 😭. I'm feeling very optimistic about his future as a pro skater. Ganbatte yuzuru 😭

If yuzu do something like this with this kind of production value...yuzuru hanyu's skating with mv quality production.....yuzuru hanyu cinematic universe.....i will cry if that happen

off topic but after yuzu's announcement i was hoping maybe one day he would do an ice show at Tokyo Dome (or other 50k seats stadium) and we'll have the most epic pooh rain ever and then went to twitter and saw a lot of fanyus also has the same dream. We fans really share the same braincell
