I find it funny tho that they make the biggest deal about doping because it gives athletes an edge but say nothing about over scoring which is even more prevalent. I'm watching Beijing Today on Eurosport to catch up (have to be honest skipped fugure skating part yesterday) and the section about TE was mostly about Valieva and how she is so extraordinary. Also, polish portals, that usually barely write anything if the polish athletes are not involved, also big articles on Valieva. And now this... Honestly this is going be the most memorable thing from those Olys. Unless 4A miracle.

If this costs ROC their team gold, I can't even imagine the unwarranted backlash she'd get, especially because knowing Eteri, there is no way Kamila is taking anything not prescribed to her by Sambo, including water.

But it's not like this sport has a history of...doing the right thing....so I'm not holding out for this conclusion, unfortunately.

February 9, 20224 yr Well, I was away since this morning from the forum and didn’t expect to see this sh*t fest 🧐 I know it’s all very tempting to speculate and throw fuel at a fire after seeing rumours but I feel uncomfortable with myself to start pointing fingers left and right without knowing the full picture yet. The same as saying someone’s career is ending (although knowing Eteri’s coaching style Kamila wouldn’t probably have had another 2 years on the rink). For the sake a of a little 15 year old girl I hope she comes away from this unscathed. While on the other hand I want someone to put the hammer down on Eteri’s style. 🥲
