If the last group fall under pressure like Patrick Chan in 2014 then 3 OGM is definitely possible. I highly doubt the whole last group would crumble under pressure. Nathan looks to be in quite good form and has an almost 20-point lead. Shoma and Yuma have also 10+ points lead. Chance for gold is nonexistent, probability for a medal is not high either. If you accept these you will have an easier day tomorrow. 5 minutes ago, Omoshiroi_Zuzu said: Youtube? Yes please! Even if I don't know if it's in his personalities (and the comment section should always be closed) but it would have more followers and views than all ISU videos put together. He actually could make a living out of YT. I think he just isn't the type to do YT videos.

February 9, 20224 yr I just hope he turns into a professional skater after retirement like Mao!! He can have shows all year and they will be sold out!! Anyone knows if he has to pay jsf then any money?! Cause I read he does now, 10% of what he earn goes to their miserable pockets. As for coaching, honestly i don't want him to be one. They will treat his students the same they treated him!! Maybe in the far future when AI is implanted. As for a drama or movie or even a manga!! I don't think anyone can do him justice, cause his story is way better to be a movie or manga (I would prefer manga). Besides, they will take out all the unfairness he faced, cause the bad guys are old geezer officials of the isu and their judges and co..

I feel the same too..can he fly just straight away to japan on 11th after the Free events or asap. No gala. No closing ceremony. JSF please.. 🙏🥺
February 9, 20224 yr Maybe he will go back to studying. Imo, It will depend on how he finishes his career. If he fulfills his dreams, he might remain in the FS and do shows. I don't see him coaching. If not, I fear he might seek a low-profile life.

Nathan's jump quality is lower than Hanyu's and if Yuzu goes super clean he usually gets jump and spin GOE more than Nathan. So 20 points is possible to overcome. Now Nathan might fall or UR or step out in his Free because his practice jumps today was off quite a lot..

They awarded all the scores such that Yuzu can be most likely off-podium. Shoma got 105 even with hands on his combo. They aren't strict with UR btw, Jun's URs weren't called. Even Yuma's stepout 4Lo got postivie GOE lol. Nathan has to fall and pop several jumps. He might mess up 1 jump but not more. The most Yuzu can get is silver/bronze and if he is injured, which is very likely, no he won't podium 99%.

I have taken this week off work so I will have enough time to digest and accept the cruel fate. My only hope is that Yuzu accepts what is thrown to him and moves on.

I will respect however kinda life he decided to live post retirement. He deserves that. Hopefully, he settles down, getting married , have a family on his own. Omg!!can u imagine yuzu jr? 🥰😍 (Ok now i'm getting ahead of myself😅)

But there is still a possibility of Nathan repeating 2018 SP Olympic disaster. I don't know if he has the toughest mentality to skate last AT the Olympics WITH the pressure for his 1st OGM. That is a massive pressure. And most skaters will crumble under that. If Yuzu skates clean, that adds even more pressure on Nathan..

I don't know why I have a bad feeling about Beijing though, I fear it will affect him more than I'm prepared for.

But I have prepared myself for the most realistic result rather than miracles so that I can cope with it easier. But sure miracles do exist.
