February 9, 20224 yr Kami was so hyped, the female Yuzuru Hanyu, breaking WRs every time… and now everything ending in doping scandal. I can't imagine how it must be for her now, and at that sensitive age.

Jesus, i can't care less now, but in a few days I will bring my popcorn probably 0.0 Yup 4 minutes ago, Tee said: definitely!! I think this should be spoken about a lot more esp on the kids jumping quads at like 14. A lot more sports outlets like the one below should report on it tbh. Finally they brought this up
February 9, 20224 yr And then we will see !, < and << in Sasha’s and Anna’s protocols. Just like rhythmic gymnastics during Tokyo 2020…
February 9, 20224 yr Oh boy, if it's Kamila then shit (pardon the language) is really going to hit the fan. This could spell the end of Eteri if it's true. It may also ruin Sasha and Anna's chances of competing (although I assume if they were positive they would also be under investigation by now). It's been a long time coming for Eteri's camp. If they aren't using performance enhancing drugs, then the weight loss drugs are probably what is being detected. Those sort of things should never be imposed on young girls (or anyone for that matter).

February 9, 20224 yr Eteri flew a little too close to the sun. About time they got her but I feel bad that it's at the expense of the girls ....again...
February 9, 20224 yr I read a tweet that Kamila will be banned in competing in the individual event and ROC will be stripped of their medals. I don't know if that is true.. Poor Kamila.

I truly hope this is the end of russian domination but i doubt. i just hate that it took the olympics for the media to call out eteri's coaching issues. poor kamila but i wonder if this is final news

As for retirement - it will happen at some point but I get the impression he’s good for a little while, unless there’s a bad injury. People have been anticipating it on these pages since PC and it hasn’t happened yet. He seems to have regained his love for skating which I was afraid was deserting him in 2019/20 season. I was so relieved when he ditched Otonal and Origin, and reinstated his own warhorses to bridge the gap until his new programmes were ready. I don’t think he necessarily wants a big competition send off either. I wonder whether if he came close to his idea of perfection in a lesser competition like a GP or 4CC - had a NHK/ GPF 2016 moment - he might come away and just release a statement a few weeks later. I think it might be a folding his tents and going quietly away rather than a fanfare moment.
