to be fair, her triple axel is better than most of the men's let alone the women's. but then Yuzu exists with a 3A that is lightyears ahead of everyone

It's better than most 3As but her rippon helps to keep the axis so much, it was very visible when I saw her practices in Sochi a month ago. I'd like to see her 3A without rippon once.

Oh. My. Dear. They changed Muravyeva’s score two hours after the event was over and gave her a deduction for “being late”.
I am done with the ladies, it’s rotten through and through

between this and the dance shenanigans, it seems like rusfed doesn't even care if it looks corrupt.

Just watched this... yikes, for Trusova and Liza, but considering what's happened with Sasha, I wasn't surprised... but I was surprised she tried the 3A. And Liza, wow, one of the first axels she's actually gone down on all season. Little step outs yes, but a fall? I think she wanted it here too much.

Muravieva... i liked her 3A better than valieva's... the landing. And she's one of Plushy's girls... ah, now i understand why the score was changed later, lol!!

Anna. Yup. The older she gets, the less I appreciate the skating. I don't' even like her basic stroking, although I like the 3loop combos.

Muravieva's 3A is quite nice. Her setup isn't too long, she doesn't need rippon to jump it and she has good flow and transition out of it. Good toepick from what I can see, with the right(?) edges for jumps. She is also emotive, committed to the performance, fast and smooth across the ice.

A shame about the time violation but why give it wayyyy after the SP has ended if not a certain someone did something?

Plushenko really has many skaters with great potential to become well-rounded now. I hope he will learn how to become a good coach bits by bits and manage them right.
