December 24, 20214 yr The Ladies are starting their short program. Valieva skates first. Live scores: https://fsrussia.ru/results/2122/rusnat2122/ENG/SEG003.HTM
December 24, 20214 yr Samodelkina also lands the 3A with the help of rippon. 3F, then 3Lz-3T with rippon too.
December 24, 20214 yr Sasha fell on the 3A. The camera angle was horrible 3F, 3Lz-3T were good She goes behind Samodelkina
December 24, 20214 yr The background music is Martha My Dear by the Beatles in the arena. Nice choice!
December 24, 20214 yr reflections so far (not watching live): Kamila is very good and ridiculously polished for her age, but does not deserve to be that far above Sofia Muravieva, who was also very good and had a 3A as well. 90 is quite a choice. I do think if she delivers at Olys she unambiguously deserves the win though. for Sasha's and Liza's 3As. Liza I can only assume was nerves, but it seems to me like Sasha would have been much better served by doing a 2A in such a high stakes situation. lol I rewatched Kamila's skate and Ted said she had "one of the nicest triple axels in the world" and then quickly corrected himself to "among the women" I continue to find Anna kind of underwhelming. She has some good qualities (good posture, good musicality), but overall I find her less compelling compared to both Valieva and what her results would suggest. I feel like she's being held back by her skating skills which are only average. Muravieva definitely should be more ahead of her. Cool loop combo though, I'm always a fan of those (Yuzu please do 3A3Lo)
December 24, 20214 yr Muravieva was great, and she did a 3A without rippon. She is second behind Valieva. Shcherbakova looked so labored after Muravieva, and she had some wobbles, also her camel spin gets worse every time. She looked like she was in pain when she sat down in the kiss and cry. She is behind Muravieva but she gap between her and Muravieva should be much higher. Liza fell on the 3A. She only did 3Lz-2T, I can't remember if she did it also at CoR or not...she is only 7th currently, ouch. Last group is on the ice.

December 24, 20214 yr 2 minutes ago, sallycinnamon said: LOL. to be fair, her triple axel is better than most of the men's let alone the women's. but then Yuzu exists with a 3A that is lightyears ahead of everyone
