But I trust that Yuzu and his team (and his family) won't let him compete if it was a career ending injury. Yes, they made compromises - easier quads, painkillers.. but they were also smart with practices and not overdoing it. Link to comment

I've even seen talks about bringing back the 4L and 4Lz, so I won't worry yet and will wait for him to sort things out and tell us his plan himself Link to comment

We knew he was still injured because he left his return to training to the last minute, and the joy we saw on his face indicated being here was a victory. And, we knew there was nothing he would not do in order to compete... and heal after. (Roger Federer said last year he would basically break his leg trying to win Aussie Open and take months after that to recover if need be, so this idea of sacrifice for the goal is familiar). I am not surprised at all that he basically yolo 'd the Olympics. This injury is not necessarily career ending either. Time off, surgery...he needs to have the injury evaluated again so that he knows his options before he decides on his competitive future. He can take all the time in the world because he's Yuzu, 2x Olympic champion. Link to comment
