Please stay safe!  My family in Tokyo also informed me that they felt the big quake, but they are all safe.  Lots of power outages in the north area being reported, and many in the area are recalling the nightmare from 10 years ago.  We hope Yuzu and his family are safe, and that this will serve as a reminder to the Japanese national government to do better with their Tohoku revitalization efforts.

The USGS has all updated earthquake info (at least the scientific parts). No danger of landslides or ground liquefaction.  So scary.
