  1. well that's just not legal
  2. tbh I don't believe he's a real thing
  3. Question is: which ones did he land, and which ones is he kuyashii about? xD Looking at that face, he may have landed them all...
  4. Oh no... im... kinda dead and kinda crying
  5. When Brian could still speak about quad Axel and laugh
  6. He already looks intimidating with tacky and sparkly costumes, with his murder look only. Imagine that, a hundred times more, amplified by the character (Seimei) he has to portray and the costume he is wearing... ...we are all going to die and the skaters who will have to go up against him will have a huge amount of pressure. Huuuuge. Poor Kovtun, I remember he was the one saying that Yuzu looked scary, right? xD
  7. Yes please, do spew those random facts! I barely studied Chopin's life during music history, so I am a huge ignorant about him. I wanna know all the geeky stuff <3
  8. ?????? I am crying how is he humanly possible
  9. WOW. WOW: I'm completely baffled.
  10. It's because you feel more involved... but it's just a little delusion, don't you worry. Seeing Chopin live, Chopin of all programs, must be really an amazing feeling. I can't wait for ACI, it's still too far away
  11. With all this competition, I'm not surprised Yuzuru is keeping 4Lz baby a secret until it's literally the most perfect jump ever...
  12. I don't know, but inline skates are waaay more difficult for me than ice skates, they are heavier and I feel like I have less control over them, so I'm hella impressed!!!
  13. Yeah but Boyang beats him with tech consistency and PCS. No matter how much the judges might love Vincent. Unless Boyang does a splatfest, of course, but I think he's past that already c:
  14. Boyang is soooo winning this.
  15. Mmmh... their best commentary for the season, I think, might be GPF Short Program and, of course, Helsinki FS. They are very emotional there. You pick
  16. Oh noes! You have to try and resist the anxiety, because watching him live, even in streaming, is the best thing ever! I mean, I am happy that I watched WTT SP live, even if it was a disaster! Because I lived that moment with him, somehow, and he feels all the energy that comes from all around the world. Plus, with him, you never know if you're gonna see history being made right in front of you... at Helsinki, I didn't realize I was looking at a New World Record while he was skating, because I was really just concentrating on the single elements, on breathing, on clapping and screaming when he got the jumps perfectly done, on following his body with my eyes as if I was the one holding him together. Okay I'm definitely a drama queen here, but, you know, this year you'll also be able to watch him live with all of us too, so you won't be alone to scream in anxiety and fear! xD
  17. At least one italian esp for the season maybe pls y/y?
  18. His hands movements are already enough for me. When I saw that new hand movement during donut spin the first time, I got chills down my spine... so even if he only touches up a bit of hand variations here and there, I'm happy either way. I'm happy that I get to live Chopin live for the first time, because I wasn't a fan of figure skating two years ago. *sighs*
  19. This is amazing! I would love for Yuzuru to experiment with some of these c: Also, all that origami work is really touching, really beautiful, I'm so happy to be a part of such a wonderful group of people and I hope I'll be able to infuse one of those little colorful swans with my own feelings of hope and joy for Yuzu.
  20. Yes, exactly, that section is extremely Chopin-esque meaning that it's a sort of 'conclusion' that gets delayed, and delayed, and delayed, and the more the pianist tries to finish, the more notes he finds on the sheets, and Yuzuru spinning there is a fantastic metaphor of the notes creating a tornado in which the skater gets caught - I even think that spinning there helps Yuzuru feel the music more! I have tried playing Chopin ballade and that climax is one of the 2-3 parts in the whole piece which are really really difficult. So, really, doing anything that 'distracts' from the music doesn't give it the right importance. Now I really wanna see some new spin variations tho.
  21. If Yuzuru retires after Pyeongchang, he will be the first skater to retire voluntarily while still being able to win everything in the field, while still being able to push the sport forward. I don't know, it doesn't sound right to me. Yuzuru has always skated for other reasons besides himself. As long as he will be the one leading the pack, he will stay. Retiring while being the GOAT is just like quitting from your job even if you love it, you are the best at it, everyone wants you and everyone needs you. I don't know. I think he will change his mind after Pyeongchang if he still thinks he might retire right afterwards.
  22. I really think those two spins during the first musical climax in Chopin 1.0 fit the music perfectly. Putting two spins on a musical climax highlights the music; putting steps + quad combination on a musical climax exploits the music but it doesn't necessarily highlight it. On the contrary, Chopin 1.0's 3A is done out of the blue, during an almost completely silent section of music. Music retreats to leave space to skating. This way, it becomes sort of like a game; sometimes skating gives in, sometimes music gives in. Everything to come together during the Step Sequence, in which skating and music become one, completely fused, in a way I have never seen in any other skating performances. I absolutely love both Chopin 2.0 and 1.0. I think Chopin 1.0 plays with the music a lot, and I appreciate it. Both versions are from another planet.
  23. Quoting papa Ambesi, Yuzuru has the "How can you not love him" aura around him. I mean, it's rare that FS commentators from all around the world talk about the skater on a personal level. Maybe because it's rare that performances get to that kind of personal depth. But with Yuzuru, it's impossible not to talk about him as a whole, skater and human being, because he is whole when he skates. Something truly unique!
  24. He is keeping it a secret since then. He didn't even jump a single 3Lz during the 2 media days coverage...
