Ah, that is worrying... well, for now I can see the other ladies in the class doing jumps and skating pretty decently, so as far as I know my teachers are pretty good. I just decided that by the end of the year, I want to learn at least the Waltz and the Toeloop, and to spin on one foot upright quite decently. I'm not sure I'll be able to, but well. Instead of bending my knees and ankles, I am STOMPING while crossing over, doing high knees. Just. Just.

I just saw myself on videos and HAHAHAH sorry but you cannot beat me in worst crossovers ever. But at least I managed to learn the basic movement for backward crossovers now lol. Also, today was much better with the blade sharpened. I skated and took some breaks to avoid tiring my foot too much. It gets so hard to do ANYTHING when you get tired. Omg Yuzu I feel your pain so much and I don't even have asthma. I wish I learned how to skate when I was little... I could have been a much faster learner...

I will do the rest-skate-rest-skate this weekend, since during the lesson I don't really feel like taking a break. It's 50 minutes once a week, so it's really precious time :c in fact, I was training with another girl my level and she was talking with the teacher about being tired and having pains, and I was there like "gimmie next exercise! gimmie gimmie!" xD The pain was really intense for that reason (no breaks, wanting to exploit all the time), but today I have no pain at all, especially no ankle pain (this might be because I didn't tie the boots properly, or I didn't work on my ankles/knees properly, or both probably xDDD). So I do believe everything is pretty normal. But yeah, it felt so weird walking on the rink with the blades in this condition. I felt like I had no balance at all.

I'm sure you don't mean anything wrong... but using 'monster' and 'weapon' while talking about a person... mmh.

Yesterday was so hard! I had new skates but I didn't try them at all during the weekend - plus they weren't sharpened, so I felt sooo unstable, and from 30 minutes in my feet started to hurt bad and I was just trying really hard to ignore that. I did mostly lemons/swizzles and squatting, front and backwards (killed me), and then some crossovers and some spins. The harder thing was watching the other ladies doing all the singles. I am so envious, I want to improve and do that too, but I felt so unstable and suffering on the new skates, it was discouraging! The only good note is that I am starting to understand how to enter a spin, so I can practice that a lot on the weekend. But it's so hard to feel relegated to learn all the basics while the others feel so confident and free to do all the jumps... I wanna jump! *cries like a baby*

He jumped 4Lz at WTT 2017. He jumped 4Lo at the Olympics. So maybe he'll jump Nessie in a few days... and give us a sneaky landing like that first 4Lz? xD (and we will replay those 5 seconds for the rest of the season?)

I guess I should say it here, I really love Satoko's Free Skating music! It's something very hard to interpret and if there was a Japanese lady I would give the music to, it would be her :333

Sorry, I did a typo, I meant the only way it "wouldn't be valid" xP would be if it were UR or downgraded. (lol I surprisingly sound like an American President but I swear it was a typo) But since I believe 100% that if Yuzu brings it to competition, it means that he CAN land it FULLY rotated (he rarely ever UR's his quads honestly, unlike many other skaters, so) I wouldn't worry too much about his first attempt not being valid. And if it's not valid because, say, he falls, it doesn't matter, he has the whole season to succeed at it c:

That will never happen! 4A is already recognized as a possible jump with the according Base Value. The only way it would be 'valid' is if he underrotated it (it would still be 'valid' but the bv would be lowered and it would not be a true 4A in the eyes of a lot of people, Yuzuru included) or if it was downgraded (even worse than UR). But they will never say 'it is not valid'! Maybe I am jealous because I have already lost all my hair

There is a survey like this in the Italian facebook group and a lot of people actually voted 4CC because it's in the second half of the season and because it's preparation for Worlds I voted cup of Russia... I kinda think also Helsinki but not knowing how far is Yuzu's progress with 4A, I want to keep it down a little with the anticipation. End of november is reasonable enough for him
