So I am basically either living cactus, blooming cactus, or watered cactus depending on my mood and news that day Though today I am definitely a burning cactus thanks to Nationals
-
The mood in this thread moved to sad again Well, according to our cycle we will be moving to weird next so I am looking forward to that

Can we have the 24 hour charity event shows as well (sorry can't remember its proper name)
-
And to think it all started with Yuzu innocently comparing his jumps to friends, how did we end up here exactly
-
Agreed, a win is a win. I never questioned it nor do I think that Nathan or Yuzu don't' deserve their wins. What I do believe, and it was the reason behind my original comment, that they are both capable of so much better and I don't think that they or we should be satisfied with those results
-
Off course I would be happy if he wins, I am still a fan However, that doesn't mean I won't be pointing out his mistakes or discussing them. It is really not about being impartial because I am definitely biased, but I do like the sport just as I like Yuzu, so I would criticize any mistakes or bad judging even if my favorite benefited from it
-
Not me I love Yuzu, but I won't give him a pass if he underperforms, which is exactly what Nathan did this season. Nothing against Nathan, I was really looking forward to him stepping up his game this year but so far he didn't and I am disappointed.

I have never seen Javi so winded after a skate, is he alright? Since the beginning of the season he seemed to have trouble with stamina and it doesn't looks like it's improving I know nationals are not important, especially for him, but I was hoping to at least see him in better condition. I really hope he is peaking at the right time and will be at his best at the Olympics

It was fun, and I was laughing at myself the whole time.. Thankfully nothing was damaged, I just needed to do a lot of cleaning
-
Glad it is finally official.. I hope that he is not feeling down and that he will only be concentrating on himself and on healing and training Get well soon Yuzu, we will be waiting and cheering no matter how long it takes

I severely overestimated my ability to multitask today. I wanted to watch the stream with you guys while cooking, and I ended up burning my dinner and causing a mess in the kitchen In the end, I "watched" half of the videos while scrubbing pots and cleaning the hob

Never used ebay before, I will give it a try

Is there a way to get a Yuzuru clear file (any clear file) from outside Japan?
-
There is another tweet Please let this be true, if it is not it would be a very cruel joke ETA: @Sammie posted at the same time .... we are definitely not stalking twitter

I am not a big fan of Vera Wang, but I would be happy for anything other than that awful shirt he wears in the FP
-
I will believe it when I see it

My secret to stay calm is two things First, is to not believe everything the media says. there have been a lot of misinformation published around the time of his injury and it is happening again now. So my advice it to check the sources and only believe what he or someone from his team says directly. Second, and it is the main reason I am not too worried is that I trust Yuzuru. He had proven time and time again that he is wise, smart and logical as well as a hard worker. He will definitely get through this and return stronger than ever. personally, whenever I feel doubts I watch his H&L at 4CC, which is my favorite performance of that program by the way. That performance is the best proof of Yuzuru's strong will and fighting spirit, and it always calms me down when I watch it as it is a reminder that you can never keep Yuzuru down and that he will always fight back. Worlds was similar but does not have the same impact for me

I think I have to apologize for this since I was the one to bring it up.. It was really not my intention to start something or make people angry, I was just trying to explain that those sentiments do exist and that the JSF maybe trying to protect Yuzu. Sorry if I made this thread unpleasant to anyone
-
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way he moves across the ice I could really watch him for hours
-
Yet, that does not stop people from accusing us of being unfair to other Japanese skaters when we say that he deserves that spot by merit and accomplishments even without competing at nationals
-
This is what I believe as well especially since I read the things posted in the other place. It seems that there are people trying to stir trouble and claim that it is unfair to chose Yuzuru for the Olympic team if he did not compete at nationals. So i think the JSF are trying protect him by making it clear that he really wanted to be there and was prevented by the injury, which would help calm the criticism when the choice is made. Although I think that those making a fuss now really don't want him on the team and will be complaining regardless My hope is that the JSF would announce him on the team the same time they announce his withdrawal to make it clear that he qualified already and Nationals is not a deciding factor in this case. IMO this would be better than waiting after the competition since everyone will know that there are only two spots (more like one) available and there won't be rage about not choosing someone if they had the skate of their life there

Has this been shared before I can't decide whether to laugh at or be irritated by this

Top 3 would be best for me, I think it would be too much if we go for more And I don't know most of the skaters in those competitions anyway
