I think we might need a computer tech panel, but not computer judges. The judges should be selected through a universal standard, and should be held accountable for what they do, but replacing them with computers is likely not the answer.

I don't think he can pull off the SP. It's good enough choreography, but he lacks the right kind of charm and projection and commitment for it. He could develop it... I am not holding out hopes for that. -

I remember when he got 92 PCS. I don't think ballet suits Nathan, and Nemesis was the program he did the best. MLD was a beautiful program, that lost everything by the end of the season. He never developed any ability to deliver it convincingly, either, though. -

No, you're right, IMO. The first half seems like Mao's Last Dancer, the second half seems like Nemesis, and there's also this: -
We'll see. I do think there's probably a reason behind "why" he isn't quick enough (his gain of speed using his lean isn't the best, for instance), but yeah lighter, speedier choreo would help him train that.
-
Pretty much. I don't think his skills are that lacking (his SS aren't bad at all, and his edges are good when he's "into" a performance), but it's just why he feels heavy to me. Maybe this is a better description? His issue is more here than in his edging.
-
Apparently his FS is similar to something Jeremy Abbott did a bit back? https://youtu.be/Gr0PMlUanRo

What if it turns out to be balletic hip-hop? Well, yes. The NA style for men does seem to focus on more of edging, and "strength". He doesn't have Chan's skills, but I'd still describe him as heavy: his weight-transfer is off, and his balance is lacking, leading to (relatively) poor flow and speed, and also makes him look clunky. (ETA: LOL, realized you said the same thing in a different way. Yeah, it's the control of his weight and balance.)
-
He's very heavy somehow. He's a tiny guy. It's so confusing.
-
Did he not use his knees on his triples before either? I don't remember, and that looks like a 3Lz.
-
Wow. That looks terrible.

Apparently, Nathan did his programs in Sun Valley. Any vids? -
I hope they'll be prepared with all their elements by the time of their first GP.

Weeelll he didn't say what the tracks in the Mask will be. I like Hey Pachuco, but seems like that's not what it will be. :'( -

Is the nickname "Yuzu" a fan-given one? Does it have anything to do with this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citrus_junos ?
