  1. LOL I don't get why people are saying this, it's not like they ever really had a PCS home-boost. At least, Boyang didn't, and S/H are the best in the world so they got what they deserved.
  2. Just been told these are back-to-back, so nope. Definitely guessing the Korean GP for both, though. Pretty easy shot, but still.
  3. SC and the Korean GP for S/H and Boyang. Guessing.
  4. Probably trying to make sure their funding is now going for renovations and rehauling. Maybe they'll try for more funding, too.
  5. In all honesty, I think nothing's going to change. If you got a +3, now you'll be getting a +5.
  6. Boyang: He should be getting them. Kolyada: Yes. Aliev: No, his technique is pretty terrible. Jason Brown: His technique is declining. His 3As should hardly be getting any +GOE under the current one. JunHwan: Gets too sloppy at times. Let's see. Nathan: Should be getting +3 tops. Pretty average quality toe-jump quads, and not-too-good edge ones. His 4F might get better than +3, though. Zhou: Let him fix his UR issues. He's one whose performances I've never managed to finish watching. Anyway, I think the top US man soon is going to be Alexei Krasnozhon. At least by the end of the quad, he will be.
  7. There will be an adjustment phase. See: Yuna's GOEs when she was producing excellent quality jumping in 2007 as she was in 2010 Olys. Though one could argue she hadn't built up her reputation in 2007 yet.

  9. What's a "serious error"? Place of birth, I'm assuming.
  10. Shekhovtsova made it again. Cool. Cool, cool, cool. ETA: Like with a bad soap opera that has too many twists and turns, the real outcome is better: She didn't make it again.
  11. Yeah, but I doubt they'd do this, when a quad+GOE SoV advantage is much higher, now. And anyone with more than three quads doesn't need this at all. I guess for the "lower" tier men it might be true, but even they'd still probably prefer the quad advantage.
  12. There's this weird notion that we might see more -3Lo combos with the men. Can someone explain? Certainly not with any of the top men, unless they really want to do a 3A-3Lo, or smash their hips.
  13. Yeah, I maybe should have said "realistically" maxed out. Maybe. I just don't remember a clean attempt at all in the second half (which is where I'd expect most repeated quads to be). 3A is obligatory? Yeah, I'm probably messing up there. 4Lz-3T 4F 4Lo 4Lz ===== 4S 4T--1Lo-3F 3A-3T Seems about right, though has he ever attempted a -1Lo-3F out of a 4T? But the 4S in the second half isn't always too clean either... This kid's a wild card.
  14. Well I guess I did say max layout. But the problem is, I don't think I remember a single clean attempt of the 4Lz or the 4F in the second half for the bonus, and wouldn't it actually come much later here? Though I guess the program could be choreographed in a way that makes sure he gets out the first four quads very quickly in the first half, and then waits for the second half to attempt the 4Lz (and it won't really affect his PCS).
  15. Nathan's max layout, without the 3A (assuming he brings back his edge quads): 4F 4Lz-3T 4Lo 4S ===== 4T 4T-3T 3Lz-1Lo-3F A truck if he hits. I'm not too expectant, however.
  16. Lord I hope not. Nope, it's an amalgamation of what his fans say about him and all the ballet he's done.
  17. Oh, come on, not ALL ballet arms. Only the sexy ones.
  18. Still don't think the tights rule is relevant or useful. Ugly stuff. And they could have spent time trying to, you know, think about how dumb removing steps before solo jumps in SPs is.
  19. Well, yes. It's the same in ladies and with their 2As. It's because they are no longer "worth it".
  20. Yes, but now his advantage is bare minimum. Xen hasn't done the calculations, but I think both Boyang and Shoma are pretty close to him. I think they would come up to 101-102. So his advantage of ~15 points in BV is now just around 2 points, 4 at most.
