They stated in that report that they haven't found any independent and impartial evidence...no comments then Sadly, it's just about world politics, nothing more. I hope Russians will make the decision which is best for their athletes and for the country as well. If their athletes will compete as neutrals, I hope they will be in top form at the Games and will fight for medals with even more strength and motivation It would be humiliating not to see the flag and hear the anthem on the podium though. Let's wait and see what the final decision will be...

He tried the first 3A in competition in his SP at the Tohoku-Hokkaido Regional competition in October 2008. It was underrotated and he fell on it. He jumped the first clean 3A with positive GOE three weeks later, at the East Japan Junior Championships where he got +0.80 for the jump

I can't see the Poohs on my notebook but on phone it works perfectly. I can see those symbols, too, let's hope Hydro can fix these things. Anyway it is such a brilliant idea! Thanks to Mastyaeva, too and for Hydro who puts so much work and effort into it

Jun Hwan is still recovering from the injury so he's not in his best form...but what makes me worried is his 3A which has always been inconsistent but the mistakes on that jump and very costly. We'll see what happens in the free skate, I think it's going to be a battle with June who skates pretty well lately.

Team we're fewer but still good!

If they don't want the NK pairs to go to the Olympics, then a wild card by IOC wouldn't help them either. It's just sad, they are very good skaters, who trained hard to get the spot for the Olympic Games. -
Her health comes first now and it's a wise decision that she decided to WD. GPF is the least important event out of the four competitions anyway. I really hope that she will be healthy and ready for Nationals. Get better soon, Zhenya!

I hope he will get better soon, and will be completely healthy for the Olympics. Go Boyang!

Finally I'm happy for him, congratulations! -
Maybe I'm the only one but I like it It's a bit of a mix of both retro and today's minimalistic style, unusual but creative.

Clean-up is done, we're only a few years pages apart from each other guys We're reaching 2000 still in November - hopefully in a couple of hours? I can't wait to read your posts when I wake up tomorrow!

It's just so misleading. Team USA didn't qualify for the Olympics, it's luger Erin Hamlin who did. And it's not Team USA who went big at Skate America. It was maybe Rippon and Tennell, who else?

Ah the mystery is solved! These two pictures popped up on my twitter and I had no idea from which magazine would it be from. Now I know...

The average is ca. 66.5 pages/week

Let me quote myself from page 1954 which was on Sunday I'd say Tuesday or Wednesday next week, since the general chat is less active on weekends! Though I care more about page 1994 than 2000

It's just a local newspaper and the author is obviously not a fs expert. Articles like these do no good for him, honestly... He just doesn't need them.

Costumes we love to hate

This belongs here -
I understand that this is a local newspaper and they support him even more, but they talk about him as if he was the greatest of his era, a world champion, Olympic medalist, world record holder, etc. The writer states (rather dramatic) opinions as facts without much reasoning. This I could quote other parts too but I think it's just not necessary.
