  1. Looking at his haircut and the sunny weather, I think it is from the off season, but I'm happy that we are going to see something at least!
  2. I think Nathan's loose shirt and curly hair went well together with the program & the music, but now I don't see any connection between the costume and the program, on the contrary, it's distracting. I have the feeling as if Very Wang had no idea what kind of costume fits for that program (and for figure skating competitions in general), and designed something which is her style. I had the same problem with Lysacek's costumes back then.
  3. ...and more boobskirt details
  4. For boobskirt fans I remember that I was a bit shocked when I first saw it at Finlandia 2013. Not in a negative way, but I was surprised. Soon after that it became one of my favourite costumes, it's very unique, and Yuzu looked wonderful in it
  5. I don't know what's the exact context, it just looks like he was watching the competition at Finlandia, back in 2012 probably.
  6. Thank you for your summary! I understand the rest with the help of google translate, which is always useful. When I read that part that an Olympic medal would be the cherry on the top of the cake but the cake is good even without the cherry...I thought it sounded like he gave up a bit But I know that he will try and fight for that medal - so much can happen at the Olympics, especially in this crazy season, so he still has his chances. But first is Europeans, I am really curious how he will skate there against Kolyada, and others as well.
  7. I hope Jun Hwan is in better form now. It's going to an interesting competition between him and June Hyoung this weekend. After two rounds, June is 1st by almost 30 points, which is a lot... Anyway, I think the skater who will be in PyeongChang will probably skip 4CC because Korea will also compete in the Team Event and then it would be too close.
  8. Thank you, that's what I understood from it, too, but I wasn't quite sure, and google translate didn't help much either (or probably my lack of language skills )
  9. A new interview with Javi, with a brief mention of Yuzu as well:
  10. Great to see Yuna back on ice And her New Years greeting:
  11. Besides of the swan pictures, I have just received some other pictures from Sochi (these were taken by my sister who visited the Olympic village, and finally she sent me the pictures. Better later than never ) She took pictures of the "Wall of Champions" sculpture, where Yuzuru has its own little piece amongst the other gold medalists You can see the Iceberg Palace in the background of the picture.
  12. It's still 2017 here but in Japan it's already 2018 so I'd like to wish a very Happy Year to every satellites! May 2018 bring health, good luck, success and lots of happiness for Yuzuru Here's a picture I haven't posted it yet- one of @yuzuangel's swans got into the Iceberg Palace in Sochi, and an another one was left on the Olympic rings in the Olympic Village, back in October this year. It was during the same time when Yuzuru was in Moscow. May the good luck of the Olympic spirit bring luck for Yuzuru in 2018 as well ETA: I also found these pictures (sorry for the rather bad quality) Though it is not visible, the swan is there between the white and green rings
  13. I'm worried every day that he gets sick in that weather.
  14. Young You was in Toronto in June and July, the picture with Yuzu was probably taken then
  15. New interview with Misha on Inside Skating http://www.insideskating.net/2017/12/28/interviews/misha-ge-what-our-predecessors-could-do-we-still-have-a-lot-to-learn-from-them
